They don't look like each other at all actually (Insight & Prius). They just share a similar aerodynamic shape for optimum fuel efficiency and because they're both hatchbacks. I love Insight.

A Kammback is a car body style that derives from the research of the German aerodynamicist Wunibald Kamm in the 1930s, this research itself deriving from that of another pioneer German aerodynamicist, Baron Reinhard Koenig-Fachsenfeld. Kammback is an American coinage. In Europe the design is generally known as a Kamm tail.
A very sensible review. It's interesting that the Insight was praised for its quietness here, while many other reviews have noted that it is rather noisy.
I find my Insight to be rather quiet. Though not as quiet as the reviewers on here would lead one to believe. I like a certain amount of road noise. I don't want my car to be totally quiet because I want to feel that I more in tuned to what is going on around me. But I am loving that I am averaging about 4.2 L/100 km.
