I have not been able to eat a Twinky since I hit puberty. Last year, I brought my girlfriend home from Germany. One of the things I showed her about American life was the Twinky. I usually go to fairs, ameusment parks and the Boardwalk for the health food. It disturbs me that now they are serving food that is not good for you (lol). Try the corn dogs at the vendor just under the Huricane ride. Huge, unhealthy and freshly made. When I go there, I figure I'm going to eat bad food & have a fun time doing it. It's part of the kitch of the old parks. You got to at least say you tried it.

Those Twinkie booths have been there for several years, so obviously people are eating them. They surely can't be less healthy than the deep-freed cheese-on-a-stick at the hot dog place just farther down the Boardwalk ~ and I've had one of those and they ARE yummy! LOL, just read about it and got a good laugh. But it was really not that crazy, they used some coke in a batter, just like they've used beer for ages. Read one commenter say that they had used coke and beer in meat marinades for decades, and it might be interesting enough. Sweet marinades may be yummy! And, having fried Coke with cream or a fried twinkie at the fair, sure isn't what will kill you... Might be super yucky though! :)
