  • I think that once everyone started watching/listening to this, has said "Punch-KICK!!" when it's time came. Its a force of habit. xD

  • I wish there was a HQ version with the "Punch-kick!"s in it xD

  • Punch-kick! xD

  • This sounds so much better this way.

  • Sounds like an anime song...oh and uuuhm....PUNCH KICK!

  • @Dylstew2

You know, in the list next to this vid the original song is there!! RAINY~ Ame nu Utarete

    :'D

  • I LOVE THIS ONE!

  • Punchu Kii!

  • how is he called in japanese? here in germany his name is karate kurt XD

  • @shiroi201 Well, in America he's called Karate Joe.... In Japan, I think he's just known as the Karateka, which is like a Karate teacher or something (I don't know Japanese, I'm only guessing from what I've looked up)...

  • @TheInunah possible XD thanks ^^

  • He blushes halfway through because in the original Rhythm Tengoku, after punching away a couple of things near the end, his mouth opens with a blush.

  • Panch keek!

  • PUNCH KICK!

  • This sounds soooo familiar from an anime i watched!!!!

  • it sounds like an anime opening song

  • why....why does this song make me think that this is an 80s 90s Japanese song?

  • Romaji Lyrics needed! :P

  • PUNCH KICK

  • well i first got this game in the japanese version and saw that they made a english ver (as always) and thought, hmm maybe the songs will have subtitles...nope they just completely remade em and, already having the japanese ver, thought they sucked in comparison.

  • this is way better than the english onee

  • PUNCH THREE!

  • at 0:09, I automatically yelled "PAWNCH KICK!"

  • The lamest part is 2:07

  • I like the parts like 1:48 - 2:01 where there are no lyrics.

  • The Japanese singer of this is MUCH MUCH MUUUUUUUCH better than the chick on the english version -.-

  • @emz33 japanese is original :p

  • PAWNCH KEECK

  • this song rock. thanks for the video

  • I always wondered why Karate Joe blushes about halfway through...

  • @Freyatheawesomecat in the english version(which, in my opinion, this is WAY better!) its when the singer says 'i wish that we could be close'

  • @kawaiiusagi11 I don't agree, but thanks for the explanation. Makes sense now.

  • falcon kick :D ! xD

  • Punch Kick!

In the future it will be Falcon Kick

    :3

  • get three!

  • Sorry, I mean at 0:22 for the first sigh (OR BREATH!!! Whatever...).

  • If you listen closely, you can hear sighs (or breaths if I'm wrong) at 0:24, 0:27, 0:39 and 0:43. You can't really hear the sigh (or breath) at 0:43 so you really have to focus. If you can't hear on all or some of the sighs (or breaths) focus really hard and turn up the volume but not too much with earphones.

  • This is way better that the english version. much better!

  • i agree.

  • This was stuck in my head yesterday in school. xD

  • I always liked the bit where karate man blushes for a split second sfter the 'ah-ah' XD

  • I know it's where she goes uh-uh-uh-uhuhh~ or how ever you say it. So weird... O.o

  • I love Japan!

  • ya me to me to

  • I think both versions of this song, specifically, are both really good equally.

I just wish this upload also had the "PUNCH~ KICK!" sounds, it made it more pumping, imo.

  • I wish there was a longer version of this

  • @CZvhunter there is

  • Comment removed

  • @CZvhunter Oh yeah there is ^^ it's Canary Club - [ Rainy ~Ame ni Utarete~ ] from their album { Ee Janai Ka }

  • @lalalolo49 I found it out recently, thanks anyway. For all those who dont know its called Rainy ~Ame ni Utarete~ by canary club

  • @CZvhunter There is a longer full version of it. You just have to look for it, it's by a group called Canary Club I believe.

  • @CZvhunter lol there is just look up struck by rain and theres a japanese group who sung this at a concert

  • Lemme guess... (the group that sings this is) Dream? Because whoever it is, it sure sounds like Dream.

  • no its the canary club... well that's what I heard

  • I hate people that say everythings better in japanese

  • I will only admit the dazzles and fan club weren't sung too well

  • Amen.

  • But it is.

  • My karate teacher had problems with this one ahahahaaah

  • PUNCH-KII!!!!

  • beautiful!

    best ds game ever!

  • strangely good workout music...

  • this sounds so much better without the noises

  • love this song so much

  • I think listening to this version of Karate Man, shows that not all English dubs are all that bad... (Well, maybe except fan club =w=;;;)

    Love this one~<3

  • adding that anime emote has nullified any point you were trying to make.

    good job.

  • o.o! Yeah! I know! I When I was listening to this while playing I was like "... o.o E-english!? no way!" It sounds really really good and flows really well~

  • Hit three.

    :D

    hahahahahah

  • For me, this song sounds kinda like an intro for some old-school anime.

  • lol +1

  • PUNCH KICK!

  • i do admit, while some of the English lyrics are horrendous, that doesn't stop the game from being extremely fun. Just don't play Fan Club in school xD

  • Karate Joe must live on forever or else we are doomed.

  • I laugh at people who complain about the english versions just because of the lyrics, and really the only bad one is Fan Club, but besides that, all you really need is the beat and rhythm.

Hence why it's not call Lyric Heaven.

  • Yeah the people that typically complain are the ones who say EVERYTHING sounds better in Japanese. Probably the same ones that claimed Ouendan was superior over EBA because the music was "better." I'm all for purity in rereleasing games/etc. and keeping it in it's original language (if it's in Italian, I wouldn't care as long as there are subtitles) but obviously it wouldn't sell as well in a mainly English speaking country.

  • I agree... If I have a chanse I'll play with subtitles.

But the biggest reason these games are being translated is for the younger audiences who don't understand what's going on otherwise

  • Amen.

  • This version towers over the English one. D: So much.

  • Oh man you too? I thought I was the only one! :D

It kinda reminds me of the first ending "Homework ga Owaranai" for some reason.

  • PONCHKEEK

  • i really love this song!

  • This is up for download off Megaupload I believe, the full version of the song.

  • The English and Japanese version are both fun and addicting.

  • UGH. RHYTHM HEAVEN NEEDS LANGUAGE OPTIONS.

I swear, the Japanese version is so much better than the fail English version. XD

  • is there any version that doesn't have the singing? i don't mean it has a negative comment.

  • English Lyrics: Love has a cruel sense of fun. It never plays by the rules It spins us both on our heads Turn us both into fools It leaves me on my own with tear-stained eyes, and what can I do. They say that losing at love, Breaking your heart It only makes you look even more beautiful I don't believe it's true but I see you, and what can I do (uh, uh, uh ah) I wish that we can be close. Close enough to use our real names for once. Then you will say to me "Oh, I love you so!"
  • in europe this game is called Rhythm Paradise :)

  • oops sorry. I accidentally rated it a 3. I meant to 5 star it/ sorry again

  • I never realized how cool the Japanese version is...

  • This is funny that you mention that HikariXXX since Tsunku is involved in this game.

  • This reminds me of Morning Musume for some reason. xD

  • Tsunku worked with Morning Musume, from what I read, and that's why.

  • This song is a must have in every mp3 for those who likes to punch pots, light bulbs & bomb filled barrels during winter.

  • and yell PUNCH KICK!!!

  • *Smash* *Seeeeeeeer*

  • IT'S ALL IN THE MIND!

    Sorry, couldn't resist. ^^;

  • "PUNCH KICK!"

  • While I prefer the Japanese versions of almost all the other Rhythm Heaven songs, I think I like this and the English version equally. Weird...

  • The Japanese version vocals and the English vocals sound the same (the person who is speaking is what I'm trying to say)

    It's awesome!

    Love the song!

  • it doesn't sound like her although see Ayaka Kimura (Coconuts Musume) she sounded like the one who sang the english dub. her japanese singing (she's bilingual) doesn't sound like this lol

  • Uhmm o.O

Did you reply to the wrong person, or was this supposed to be directed to me, as I had said nothing about Ayaka Kimura. I don't even know her, until Rhythm Heaven (mostly because I searched the music in YouTube)

  • were you trying to say that the vocals for both songs sound like the same person? lol if not, my bad. but if so, i found out it's two other people singing both songs.

  • how funky :P

  • This song probably got the best translation in the game.

  • Seconded.

  • Yaaay, not my favourite one. But still cool. The best has to be remix 9. XD

  • *punches wall in rhythm* *headbangs*

  • love this song sooooo freakin much!

  • I love this song to death. I'm always playing this song and it's remix almost everyday just to hear the song.

...So is there a link where I can download this song? /^_^'

  • Favourite song, Favourite Level =D

  • thx for upload =D!!!!!
