So sometimes you see on your YouTube homepage that someone you're subscribed to liked or commented on a video. I see that telelli liked a video and I think to myself "She's alive!!!" which makes me happy but than also makes me sad whereas before I told myself that something dreadful must have happened to her for her to be gone for so long, and now I know that she has in fact abandoned us.
*and thus my dramatization concluded as I skulks off to a dark corner of youtube, defeated.*
Hey... It is OK! We all get sad at times. You don't have to try so hard on our behalf. All we ask is for you to be yourself. We all understand, and most likely sympathize with whatever you are going through. Life isn't always lollipops and unicorn farts, but heck there are Unicorns... Ummm like I hope they are... otherwise I smell really bad right now. LOL
I understand where you're coming from. I'm graduating in June. I'm going to go to med school because I took the MCAT and scored well, so I'm expecting (and expected) to go med school. However, because I had a bad feeling about it for the last few months, I've made a decision to take a year off anyway and just work and relax. At least now that I have a general plan, I don't feel nervous and uncertain.
My best advice is for you to come to a decision as well. Be honest with yourself :)
Thank you Miss Keely for posting this video. I watched this while i was a little sad myself and just listening to all the things you said about how you think you should always be happy and you shouldn't be sad was actually rather comforting for me to hear. So thank you so much again for being honest, you are a lovely girl and very pretty so just keep your chin up ok. And one final thing, loving the xbox in the back ground there (I'm a xbox nerd i know :3)
hey keely, don't worry about your happy/sad situation. you're human, just like all of us, it happens to everyone. take advantage of the (somewhat) anonymous stage of Youtube to vent to us or do whatever you need to do, that's what virtual friends are for!
and as far as graduating, yeah i'm done in May, and while i do know where i'll be working immediately after college i'm still incredibly nervous and anxious about it...so you're not alone there! keep your chin up :)
BTW, don't take my comment (about quarter-life crises) the wrong way. Not trying to freak you out, just trying to say that it's totally normal and pretty much everyone goes through these emotions at some point.
I know how you feel, ive been stressed like crazy, my countrys falling apart (Ireland) no work anywere , i been unemployed for over a year now, really knocks your confidence after awhile, probaly have to emigrate like alot of my friends, but you need to keep your head up , work hard at your studies cause thats all thats important right now, youtube will still be here next year, so stay strong pretty girl :)
aww honestly you are most probably worrying about nothing though when you feel sad its hard to see the positive side, anyway i hope that you feel better soon, and i'm glad your back i missed you :(
We're all in the same boat, I'm so afraid of graduating and going out into the real world I just want to keep studying history until I can get a decent living out of it! That's the plan anyway, and as daunting as it is with the next chapter of your life about to unfold, it only gets set in stone when it happens. It's great to have a plan, as I do, but it's such an exciting and ever-changing time of life that sometimes the best way is to go with the flow, grabbing all opportunities and living!
...........now im sad!! why would you do that to me...you'll be just fine. there is nothing wrong with being down. i wouldnt trust anyone who doesnt seem to have a bad day once in awhile. And congrats about graduating. Take this time to enjoy your accomplishment. Get Letters from your profs and stay in contact a bit for obvious reasons lol. You've got a great personality so stay honest with yourself...or else :-) good luck with your next step, whatever that may be...(after you shower) lol
I have no idea what your talking about you are so pretty
Its alright to feel sad and stressed its a major moment in your life. And take your time when it comes to making videos, because i would prefer a few great videos than lots of bad ones
I was in your place not too many years ago, history major, crap economy, didn't really know what i wanted to do. I thought about phd but I couldn't rationalize spending that much money for a field in which i would be difficult to get a job, so I went to law school and hated it. Then just fell into a great job in finance, which i now have a masters in and love. So don't be afraid to make mistakes and take chances, I never planed for my life to be this way at uni but i wouldn't trade it!!!!
Hey, it happens. However, honesty and vulnerability are just as, if not more, valuable.
And by the way, don't worry about freaking out about graduating. The 20's are really just 10 years of freaking out and being lost, and I am saying this from experience. You're in good company. :)
i can for sure relate to what youre saying but sometimes i feel that when there is a lot of uncertainty theres also a sense of excitiment at the same time because the world is yours to explore but thats just me lol :)
@Thevintagebootgirl I'm so glad that this made someone feel better! I was worried it would be really depressing to watch. Thank you so much for saying so :)
Yup, life gets scary after university. Watch out for the especially horrid quarter-life-crisis (usually hits sometime between 23-30). Look it up on wikipedia.
Omg you are a real person? You have emotions? EWWWWW! Glad you uploaded a video regardless of your mood :]. I like normal Keely as much as I like waitress Keely. You radiate intelligence and genuineness and I have no doubt whatsoever that once you graduate, you should find no problems finding a career that was made for you. If you do, whoever is hiring is really, really stupid.
Where've you goooooooooone D:

Pull up "First Aid Kit - Tiger Mountain Peasant Song". When I'm feeling down, I'll sometimes put this on repeat for a while. It helps..
