I own this Game in it´s original version on the Mega CD european version.Played it yesterday :) Truly one of the best Sonic Games ever programmed,if it´s not the best.The Mega Drive/Mega CD will ever be my favourite system,and i´m glad that i have this stuff here today.

Bout a minute into the first one it feels more "Sonic" as tune turns into Green Hills Zone from Sonic 2 (Master System version).

I assure you, the REST of the soundtrack, the Euro/Jap one licks the US soundtrack hands down.

I really don't know what the fascination is with Engrish. Both versions are silly songs, but clearly Sonic Boom is the more coherent of the two themes.

@eswat What sonic boom is just cheap hack that took its mine line out of this song. And don't get me started on the U.S ending that should win the prize for the most lack of imagination ever. I mean its just slower remix of the OP Theme, come on the song Doesn’t even match the images on screen at all. Sorry but the JP one wins hands down get over it and grow up.

Dude, if you own the original game, just get an emulator. The ROMs are illegal unless the own the original game.

They are tricky to find. I've only found one with no music because the game is ESA protected.

I loved this game when I had it for the Megacd. I had the european version, with the superior soundtrack (the first version of this video). I wish I still could play the original version... :(

use a emulator this was recorded with one. in the original the whites the sega cd version didn't come out right so i used the highlight filter in surreal gens. its not too hard to find.

yeah i took it off to show the video better. the scene where eggmans face comes out in the mountain is only in the Sega/Mega CD version. that is how you can tell.

The first one is the Japanese MegaCD Version and the second is the American SegaCD Version. There is people that like one more then the other that is why i put both up.
