Your bike either has a shock missing or has a single sided swingarm. Is that from another Ducati or did you have that made? Cool bike I love these in black.
@GarryAP well, it's not a single side swingarm and its not missing a shock. It's the " Mono " model which Ducati only made it in the 2006 model and the 2007 SE model.
@SHANEK1325 Ok Fella. Thanks for that. I did think it looked unusual with a single shock on one side like that. I've had a look around and found that the Paul Smart is similar. Which is also discontinued. Haha. Shame.

@nedlazarov thanks man. I would just search craigslist (national). I just got lucky. It took me about almost two month to find one. I almost bought one in east coast and ship it over to southern cali. There is one guy down here is selling a S model (with fairings) for $15k. But I guess you just need to be patient.

@aidanvinum I'm 5'11" and I can set both feet flat on the ground. I think if you chang it to a after market shock you can adjust it and get it lower. You can contact JC at jcpakebikes com. I did all my mods with him, he's a sport classic specialist. He should able to give you some good advice. Hope this helps.

I spend another $3k on exhaust, ecu, bars, frame and swing arm sliders, mirrors ect. Ducati does not make the bike anymore. I think the last year model was 2009. I think they only make the
GT 1000 model which is a little different. Hope this will help and if you find one, buy it, you will love it.

@catalin130487 No offense at all. In the beginning, I feel the same way, but later I found out that this year model (2006 mono) is comes like that, it's called "dry clutch". And you know what , now I feel that sould it's unique. You can tell it's a Ducati coming down this way when you hear that noise.
