Great post!!! As a singer myself & a big fan of male vocal groups from The Mills Brothers to The Lettermen to The Temptations, I have always been in awe of these guys. There's a DVD/video tape of their career that's taped mostly in the 80's, and they still sounded the same. Unlike the rock n' roll singers that many of us grew up listening to, they didn't shout their voices out by the time they were 40. These guys were the grandfathers of all male vocal groups to follow. May they rest in peace
