The windows get broken because they can stand a limited number of bullet impacts, and if they shoot with that kind of guns, of course the windshield will break at a certain point. The security cannot be disabled and automatically make the windows weaker, that would be very stupid.

I gotta bring this up. In GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, they use this location as a multiplayer map. It's called Carver's Press. To be honest, its not the best Bond movie nor the most memorable location. But its not bad. But seriously, out of all of em, they picked this one. Whatever, Rogue Agent wasnt a bad game, I love all the references, even the fairly recent ones.
