I've never known whether to think of Quinten as a genius or one twisted son of a bitch. Perhaps he's both. I've always thought that he goes way over the top with some of these gruesome scenes, but at the same time there have been car crashes that were probably way bloodier than that in real life. But I think he came as close as he could to the real horror of a head on collision. Oh and Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick, and Tich rule by the way!

The first time I saw grindhouse, I didn't like Death Proof at all. I thought Planet Terror was far superior. Now it's the reverse. I didn't like Planet Terror the second time, but Death Proof gets better with every viewing.

OK so, don't get me wrong, I loved this movie and bought the DVD as soon as it came out... but I still think there is no way Stuntman Mike could have gotten away so easily.

A two-way street with crash occuring on the girls' side, and as seen @ 2:00 there should be plenty of tire marks showing Stuntman Mike's prepping for murder...

Sure I guess the girls being high and drunk didn't help their case but stil, the sheriff stated he had no reliable evidence!... Am I missing something?
