i was going to join a protest but was too sick that day, but from what i heard, apperently a protester got right into a cops face, so i guess the cop pushed him back just a bit, and the protester got really pissed off so he went to swing a punch but the cops ducked so the punch missed, so he went to go swing another but the cop pushed him on the ground and some other nearby cop came and used pepper spray on him and both arrested him for assaulting an officer

If a study shows that police officers are on a whole, more aggressive at work(and at home) due to stresses endured in their work environment. Which results in overly aggressive responses to civilians and even family life. Perhapes the more ideal approach to solving a situation like this would be to have a joint protest WITH the police for getting them more government tax payer funding for stress relief training, training to help them deal with the stresses of their job.

The vast majority of people realize that destroying public property is defeating the purpose of the march and a lot of people did react and discourage the malapropos behaviour.
