nice work - you're the first person I've seen on YouTube attempt to play the ending right - I thought you played the whole thing slower so you could play the ending slower but you actually sped it up at the end (it's not easy, I've been trying to learn it myself) - and then you go into that other song...almost like a Nick Drake Medley...that would be awesome to see live
yeh, that ending is tough to play. I like to slow nick drake's songs down a bit, makes them a bit easier and brings out the soul. there are lots more nick drake covers on my channel if you are interested.. thanks for watching
I think in the past 2 days I've probably watched about 15 of your videos! (Yes, I really do have another life). I can't thank you enough for the special treats. It gives me something beautiful to carry along in my head as I make my bicycle commute through the city.
The first time I tried MJ was over in Seattle, WA a couple of months back, with a person I met while staying at a hostel there. Fun experience :). Y'know, a lot of geniuses used MJ. Somehow it unlocks hidden parts of the mind, giving access to the cosmos and other crazy ideas, which can be world-changing.
I've got an aunt and uncle who lives in NZ, blazing up over there sounds quite tempting. Cheers
thank you for taking the time to ponder mary jane for a while!! :) I did my fair share of MJ in my youth, but it does not agree with me anymore.. I am not a religious man, but I like to think if there was a garden of eden there would have been a magnificent pungent towering tree of herb!
how wonderfull a song is this.

Another great Nick Drake cover. Excellent job!
I wonder if Nick was really singing about MJ, or if the song is about a woman he loved.
Nice nod to the Cello song too.
Keep 'em comin' Joe, you sound amazing even through my small laptop speakers.
