If everyone teaches his kids to clean up after themselves instead of throwing trash on the floor then we have a cleaner Syria from airport to streets. When people pay fines at other countries for littering they learn to clean up after themselves. Syria is our homeland...I don't charge my kids to clean their bedrooms/ home

Call me crazy, but I like this airport! I dont know why, but it has a sense of nostalgia to me. Maybe its because my grandfather designed it, but I dont know. Going there tommorow!
The airport has been untouched since its inception back in the 60's. I can bet my left nut that Mogadishu International Airport is in much better condition than this. No offense to all the Somalis. But when I was there in September, they were doing a lot of renovation and building a new terminal next to this one. We'll see.
I went recently and alot of the renovation is done. They're starting on a new section of the airport now. They have done a good job, when compared to the drama at Heathrow's new terminal 5 Damascus international looks like a well oiled machine :p
i love it how americans and britains come to our country, and all they talk is positive. When arabs leave their countries, they leave like dogs leave their sewers, and all they bring up is negative aspects of their country. Why do u wana make us look bad bro? btw, i was at damascus airport very recently and i can tell u there is a lot of revolution being done and the khidmay is great and inshallah it will be even better, now is the time arabs r ready to better themselves and were doing a goodjob

Second, the bathrooms was extremely dirty with cocroaches and employee was collecting money to hand out napkins, obviously she did not have a job to clean the bathrooms.
@Boojaffar well its not very suprising since lots of airport toilets r dirty and when i went 2 turky we stopped of there guess what there was also a lady handing out napkins and this might not suprise u but the toilets were dirty 2

I hate to say I feel ashamed of some, maybe most of the people that work particularly in the airport. I was welcomed with disappointment and I was greeted with disappointment the time I left. The passport employee insited that he wanted $10 to overrule his own rules and I was not in violation.

Actually Syrian Airport has one of the best services. Of course, its not comparison to the LAX or big airports in the USA, but it is better than many of the European Airports...especially Russias. lmao
and the resturant sucks there by the way, i tried to eat a cheese sandiwhc but with the first bite i spit it out immediately, WTF? food there taste's horrible...
