@nanski33 The Sign of Zorro is basically the Monastario episodes edited into a movie.Try e-bay for it.They usally have a few copies on vhs.

When I first watched Mask of Zorro I expected to see the story of the original Zorro. To my surprise it was Diego teaching a successor. Indeed, my favorite Zorro is Diego Vega-charming, courageous and a true gentleman.

This is diffrent than the version I am use to. In the version I remember from my tapes and from the person on youtube who showes it, it took much longer to show the secrets Diago used, like the secret passage. In the other version Diago didn't show Bernado the passage untill after his first mission

As a kid, i used to dress up as Zorro, i would scale factory roofs and scarper accross them, often, the workers would come out yelling at me to get down, but in true Zorro fashion i would haul arse and escape...i WAS Zorro....sad but true folks.

@Marcosipo On amazon.com you can buy the colorized sets or the b&w.I have season 1 colorized and just purchased the second season yesterday.The reason why I bought the b&w ones is because they have the 4,1 hour specials.If I can figure out how I might just try to upload them for you and another friend.I'm glad there are others who like Williams and not Banderas.Banderas is nothing but Williams is THE best!!!

Guy Williams was and will ever be the only Zorro. I'm from Argentina, and here, to this same very day, we can watch the show every evening. God knows they have run the same episodes again and again, and I've watched it since I was little...and it just makes you feel the very same way you felt the first time. It's magical.

One Of the main inspirations actually, the other ones were Sherlock holmes, The Shadow, Doc Savage, The Black Bat, The Phantom Detective, The Spider, and (even) Superman(!).

I just saw a video that was made from the Biography channel, I think, and the man who came up with Batman said, yes, definetly. He took the alter ego, ideals and the hidden cave idea from Zorro. But, obviously he added more to make the character his own.
