Jeter would have been no where near w/o biased umpiring. Never saw a batter whine so much about calls-never. Almost all players would have been booted for his quick words to umps.  Yapper always open - even when they were down 12-2 in 9th inning of a certain 7th game in 2004 and he made 2nd out on a bang-bang play at 1st - but was still clearly out.
