Well SandSpro, in my opinion you are better going with the hybrid. It will be a lot more beneficial on the go than just being static at home on the imac. Also when you hook up a console such as the Nintendo Wii, it will work but the quality will not be great or now where near HD. So if you were to use it at home with your XBOX 360, i would by a HDTV as the graphics would be 10x better. So get the hybrid as it means that you can watch tv on the go which is always lots of fun! :)

can u possibly make a video showing on how to connect the xbox 360 with eyetv hybrid adapter with your macbook please? that would be kickass if u could.
Hybrid means that it is possible at both viewing digital and analogue which is really useful when you travel to different areas of a country. I must warn you though that you can't use both at the same time which is really annoying. Anyway, i will do a review shortly of the elgato eye tv. Thanks for watching!
Nice unboxing video, please make a review of it, where you shows how the quality is with the included antenna. My father just bought a Caravan, and Im getting a Macbook soon, so it would be nice to see how the quality is on this thing. BTW what exactly does Hybrid mean? :D
