Rubbing your teeth with a strawberry also makes your teeth white. It's important to note that regular baking soda contains aluminum and can also destroy the tooth enamel over time if used everyday. You can buy aluminum free baking soda from a local health food store and use it for acid indigestion by taking about 1tsp with a pinch of salt. It is also great for house hold cleaning.

Once a week, i put on my toothbrush some toothpaste, then dip it in the soda, it boosts the effectiveness of the toothpaste yet 'hides' the salty taste more.

Soda is a miracle cleaner for bathrooms etc, clean your fridge with it and it deoderises it too! Forget expensive chemicals, use soda! (do not use on anything with delicate surface as it's mildly abrasive, do a test area 1st)

I don't use flouride. We have enough in our water. I do use the soda. Have since I was little, Dad did too! Usually about 1 time per week. If you scrub to hard, yes it can take your enamel off, at least that is what I was told too! This is why it works so good at removing the stains. Beautifully white teeth. Thanks for sharing.

You have really nice looking teeth already and I love how you demonstrate how to do it. I knew about baking soda before you showed it so I wanted to tell you that you can weaken the enamel on the teeth especially at the bottom of the teeth where it is the thinnest. Anyway, try not to do it too much or too aggressively. Just make contact with the teeth gently let stay there for about a minute and rinse. Just 3 x a week. Eat cheese and let it stay on a minute too to keep teeth strong. God bless

Ordinary toothpaste, in addition to aggressive chemicals, has Titanium-Oxide powder or similar as an abrasive... if baking soda (Natron) is dissolved in water it's not abrasive... the discoloration is for a large part due to bacteriae, so, it's possible to just brush lightly w/o anything and then flush with baking soda afterwards if you worry about abrasiveness.
