The Temptations performed at Madison Square Garden soon after this miniseries was released and Leon came out and sang with them towards the end and his voice sounded the same. It was easy to see that he wasn't lip singing. The only things he didn't sing in this was My Girl and Ain't Too Proud to Beg.
