@007joshuaschultz When I flick it, I am slightly wedging it open with my thumb being sure to cup it with my fingers on the opposite side.
When practicing, be sure to aim it away from people and breakables. :)

what kind of oil do you use? i have the exact same one.
@007joshuaschultz I use all kinds. From household oil to WD-40.
One time I just drenched it with WD-40 and let it sit for a couple of days.
Do you practice this alot??

Can you retract the pliar head after opening up one of the fold-out tools?

@chashuramen Yes you can.
You have quick hands :D Might pick one of these up, but I think the Suspension model looks much better and has better access to tools

@evilsquirrel56231 Thanks. The Suspension model is more efficient because you can access all the blade-like tools without even opening the pliers. Which also makes the handles more comfortable during use.
