No matter how it's played, it's beautiful. I've heard many interpretations of this piece, and they all take my breath away. Yo Yo Ma's is slower, and more subtle. Maisky's is more crisp and concise. I love them both, but I prefer Maisky's.

*totally blown away by the cello and piano playing* w-wow....just...wow *mouth open in surprise* the way this man plays the cello....it's absolutely amazing! And the quiet and melodic piano accompaning it just adds to the beauty of this man's talent -

I hope to be getting a cello this christmas to learn. haha I also self teach myself the piano too it's great fun and I get a kick out of it =) lolzz *shuts up coz I know I've gone on for too long*
