Ok my bleeding has now completeley stopped ,i am eating macrobiotics, cooked grains, millet, brown rice about 70% a day, cooked miso soup with kale and shiitake mushrooms, seaweed daily which is a hugeweight reducer, cooked greens, umeboshi plums are 70% iron the gynecologist wont tell u to cook them in kuzu root to make a drink ,also take Health Concerns ,Longevitabs, chinese herbal tabs to stop bleeding ,3 tabs 3 x a day,

and my bleeding is now cut in half with just 1 week of strict macrobiotics, no meat, dairy, oils fats, etc and the pill is cutting it down even more, if ure hemorraging get the D and D obviously, but when she hands u a prescription for Depoprovera, which is pure evil, u should really tell the gynecologist to fuck off for suggesting such a poison, instead to stop more fibroids in future U need to get off sheeple diet, and get recommendations but i know only 5% of u will listen to me so lol
Anyway the gynecologists give u Iron to help and this actually increases bleeding if not accompanied with Vitamin A, vit A plays a part google this usually a deficiency is a problem, anyway umboshi plums are 70% iron and if u cook in with dissoved kuzu a root, will get iron, when u go to a Macrobiotic couselor u will fill out a history than will give u a couple page written recomendations, forget it be a good sheeple and keep drinking the koolaid and listen to what doctors say with no research

My mom has one the size of a golfball in hers. And the doctor said that since it,wasnt cancerous it was nothing, and not to worrie. But idk it seems harmfull? What do you think?
Thanks for shareing your experience Phillydiva, I do have fibroids and can not stand the feel of it. I am doing this research, cause I am thinking about having the opperation cause i am going through a lot with this. I mean the pain, the physical change to your body and all that.
Did you have a csection? Because I'm trying to compare the pain. My pain tolerance is not great. Have you had anymore fibroids growing since your surgery
I was just told I had to have major surgery for fibroids. I'm 33 years old and said they were massive. I was at a fertility clinic because it took 4 years to get pregnant. I had my first son at 28. My husband and I tried for 2 years because I went to a fertility doctor and they told me these fibroids are in the way. I'm scared and nervous. I really want another baby. Your daughter is beautiful. Was the recovery brutal?
Please call me. I would like to know did your stomach go down after you had the surgery, and do you feel better? I am told by my doctor that I have fibroids. I have been having non-stop back-pain, bleeding, cramping, headaches, tiredness, etc.
Go Bless you Ms. PhillyDiva, for this video. I had a myomectomy Jan 2010. The surgery was very successful i also had 8 tumors removed. I am still able to have children thank God. I just got married and can't wait to have my first child. The information on this video is on point! Many women need to see this. God Bless you as well on your new relationship with God. Keep it up Ms. Phillydiva!
Hello i have recently discovered that I have fibroids I do not want to have surgery so I looked to discover a natural remedy and I was given a dvd and a book all in the same week, I called it this is my assistance that i needed I have not completed the book or the diet but the books says that we can shrik them naturally the book is called overcoming an angry vagina by Queen Afua. I am going to try just so I do not go under the knife.
This video helped me feel good knowing that someone could relate to me. I just found out Thursday that I have fibroids. He says it's the size of a grapefruits. During my cycle it was difficult for me to get out of bed at times the pain was so bad, not to mention it sits on my bladder!! My doctor said his last option would be a hysterectomy. I am 29 with no children. I get my ultrasound done in a few weeks and through prayer is very hopeful!!! Thank you for this...
I am reeally glad that you made this video im 20 years old and i think that I have fibroids. My mom had them in the past and she is a Nurse and she does tell me that I have them. I really dont know if I have them or not until I visit a doc or not. But i dont have any of the symptoms, I dnt have major pain, the only thing I do have is clotting while im on my period.
I just found out that "parabens" contribute to fibroid tumors because they act like estrogen in our bodies. Extra estrogen produces the tumors in the uterus. I threw away my shampoo, conditioner, and hair oil because they all had various parabens in the ingredients. I am now using only products with basic and natural ingredients.
I had my 3rd myomectomy (cervical) 2 days ago and just came back from the hospital. I can't wait to have my life back (til they grow again!!) I have had them since 2000 when I had the first operation. I think I will re-visit raw food ....I don't want them back!!!
My procedure wasn't painful and after a day, I don't need any meds. There are different entry methods and cervical seems to be less painful.
Good luck to all going through it... there are solutions out there.

Hi was it hard to get pregnant after you had the surgery i have two strikes against me pcos and uterine fibroid one of the fibroid is pressing on my spine they say it's on the bottom of the uterus so it really kills my back on top of the rest of the pain. with pcos its hard to pregnant.
I have fibroids. I was diagnosed in 2006. So far I have maintained my fibroids to the point where they decrease in size but not necessarily go away. When I change my diet, it does help. I fall back on the dieting from time to time but made a sincere decision to continue my Raw food journey and after a few days of just eating all types of raw foo, my period that I had been having for over a month has ceased. I feel lighter and more spiritual.

I recently had a uterine fibroids embolization (UFE) i have over 30 plus fibroids as detected by an MRI. This procedure was less risky than myomectomy and hysterectomy. Thanks for sharing.
Lots of info on how to do if but what would really be helpful to know is how did you pay for the surgery? Or did your health insurance covery it completely? Please go into detail how you went about paying for this.
@ETANI83 myomectomy or hysterectomy are covered by all major insurance carriers. I paid for nothing...its not cosmetic surgery...its reconstructive because its removal of blood tissue that can become fatal i.e. cancer or death if not treated.
Your baby is really cute! I was looking for information on these fibroids because I knew I had them but since last week had strange pain in stomach can’t walk properly seen gyae today told fibroid now size of 16 week pregnancy plus 2 cysts on left ovary, that was not there before - so upset! What the hell do I do with the cysts and why have I got 2? It looks like I will have to remove them after all! scared!.
I came across your video while sitting up late worrying about my surgery that will be done this Thursday...I have researched the procedure online, and the info has been helpful, while actual pictures and videos of the procedure has brought me to tears...
I have 5 fibroids that are going to be removed. I just wanted to say thank you for putting the information out there and that your daughter is gorgeous... Having children is my main motivation for having this surgery....
PhillyDiva, thanks again for this so very important information! I was just talking to my doctor and telling him that I often cramp between my menstruals, I am going to insist that I get tested for fibroids! Thank You so much! I needed to see this video!
You never need a hysterectomy for fibroids unless you have the wrong doctor. Fibroids are not a disease, they're your genetic blueprint, they run in the family. If the women in your family tend to develop fibroids, you might too. Fibroids grow until you reach menopause, then they slowly, gradually shrink to a negligible size. Watch the video and learn more about fibroids, female anatomy and the functions of the female organs.
Miss PhillDiva I have three fibroids and I have been taking herbs for my fibroids and
so far it is working for me but I'm a older I be 51 this year. But the herbs are working check out the new body herbs and it works. check with your health food stores. The natural way do work. I hope that this will help you.
Was it the recovery that was the worst? I found out i have 3 of them a couple months back and my gyn immediately put me on contraceptives to shrink them gradually. (They're only about an inch a piece right now.)
How long did you stay in the hospital and what happened after you went home the first couple weeks?
Hey great video i beleive i have fibroids i just havnt had a biopsy yet scary ive beeen putting it off for so long now but im starting to get alot of stomach pain....can you tell me if you missed periods before your treatment??? im curious cause i have been regular for along time but now im missing periods or iam very late i have twins that are 3 and now im worried i wont be able to conceive in the next two years....
Ughhhh I just found out that i have huge fibroid and polycystic ovarian syndrome,im so depressed. I knew it was something wrong when i couldn't get pregnant after trying 4 a year.
@kim24may aww sweetie...I am sorry and trust me I know what you are going through...but please have it removed because I had mines removed and then got pregnant with my daughter who is now 3...please seek medical treatmentimmediately and I am here if you need any advice or just need to chat.
Have any of you all heard of systemic enzymes? I would research it because it's worth it, in efforts to resolve issues with fibroids. I bought it from Whole Foods, and the actual product name is ViraStop, it has something in it that eats away at the fibrin, which is what the fibroids are made of. we begin losing our systemic enzymes around age 27 which helps our bodies heal, and eliminate excess fibrin. The excess fibrin stays in the body, and forms things such as uterine fibroids.
excess fibrin also causes other ailments in our bodies. Just please research systemic enzymes or proteolytic enzymes. It's worth it. And get really extensive with the research as I have. You can not take it with any blood thinners though
Thanks for your words of encouragement...I too have a uterine fibroid that drives me crazy when it come to wearing certain clothes b/c of it protruding...I was suppose to have my surgery to remove them, but due to me wanting another child and the recommendation of my Obgyn, i held off...
listen to me...you can the suregery and still have children afterwards...I had the surgery called a myomectomy instead of hysterectomy and I had surgery like in October 2005 then gave birth to my daughter in Jan 2007...anything is possible through the grace of God...trust!
Have your Fibroids returned? Ive heard from so many whose fibroids have returned...Ive done some research about the UFE (uterine fibroid embolization) this procedure stops the blood flow to the fibroids and i believe has a better success rate of fibroids not returning.
praise God...no my fibroids have not come back...and its been over 4 yrs. I do get checked out every 6 months though rather once a year for my obgyn checkup just to be on the safe side and I also take birth control to help regulate my cycle and they help.
phillydiva, this video helped me so much.. i just forund a lump in my breast, three second options and they still cant figure out whats goin on.. i will be thirty on wendsday and iam very upste about this but listening to u i know i can make it through.. godbless and good luck.. what a beautiful baby she is a doll.. and her hair is so healty she needs to do comercials!
thanks for the info!! Many doctors recommend hysterectomy first. we must become educated about treatment available because it is not always freely give. Thanks Again for informing women about their choices!!
@ptiffyc: Some allopathic doctors also recommend fibroid shrinking synthetic drugs. The problem with these GnRH agonist drugs is that they cause osteoporosis, vaginal dryness, irregular vaginal bleeding, headaches, hair loss, insomnia, loss of sex drive and mood changes. Also the drugs (Lupron, Synarel, Zoladex) can't be taken past 6 months and after you stop taking the drug your fibroids will return. It is best to go natural.
Wow, I'm so happy I found your video! I have several fiboids. They are as big as if I were four months pregnant. The thing out out my doctors mouth was partical hysterectomy. I have made in my mind out to go throught with that. I don't have pain or bleeding, but my stomache does poke out somewhat. I will be seeking a second opition very soon. I have been doing my research and your video is a part of that research. Thank you for sharing.
Hey PhillyDiva, this one really hit home! I had a myomectomy Jan. 15, 2004. The surgeon removed 17 fibroids!! I was teaching aerobics and my tummy protruded regardless of my workouts. So it's been 5 years and like your surgeon said, some of mine have grown back. I go for another ultrasound next month. But I am going to ask about the embolization, I don't want a hysterectomy.
thank u SOOO much for this video, i just found out about 3 weeks ago that i have a large fibroid...luckily i have had no symptoms or pain from it just noticed my tummy starting to poke...i am only 23 and a hysterectomy is OUT OF THE QUESTION. ive done nothing but research since i found out. i am scared but it makes me feel a little better to know how common it is.
Oh you are most welcome...it was actually my pleasure to provide the info and you are right- fibroids are very common especially in African American women...doing your research is key. Thanks for watching.
i had a myomectomy in in 2006 for intramural fibroids. I am worried about my infertility. the doctor who did the surgery says i should not have any problems if i wanted to have another child in the future. now i am afraid that the fibroid has returned. i will soon be thirty-nine year old. I have an appointment for an ultrasound. I just hope that my fibroid did not return. what should i do. i am worried about my fertility.
You are doing the right thing by having an ultrasound or seeing a doctor. Honestly I wouldn't listen to the surgeon because nothing in life is gauranteed- and I am not trying to scare you- but dont be naive about the truth either. I mean you may be blessed and they may not come back but studies show sometimes the fibroids do come back and that is my fear. I think you should consult with your doctor about preserving your fertility and by all means pls dont have a hysterectomy..God bless sistah.
well I had fibroid tumors about a year ago and it was painfull for me but I did not go to another doctor to get a second opinion about it I had a partal histromy and I really regret it because I only 30 years and do want another baby with my husband I didn't know at the time but it's been so hard for me real hard to deal with it but I prey everynight for God to give me strengh thanks for shareing this with every one I do feel you pain and good luck in the near future with your health
I hope that you don't have2 go through that procedure again. I could see the fear n your eyes wen you were talking about it. Just know this 1 thing...God's n the business of healing, without surgery. Speak n2 yourself everyday that you are healed and nothing can come against you. NO weapon formed against me shall prosper...Our words are very powerful. Take the word(God's) literally. He is waiting 2 show you how powerful He is.
She's loving herself in that video isn't she, and lovin dem boogers... Taste just like chicken... lol. On a serious note, thanks for sharing this information, WOMAN TO WOMAN TALK. I kinda knew a little about fibroids, but you taught me so much more about them. Thanks again for sharing sis.
Don't lol at my baby eating boogies...ok, maybe it was a little funny. She is so crazy. But anyway, yeah Shida- fibroids are no joke and I don't ever want a woman to go through what I went through. They are horrible and painful. But thanks for watching. I really want my channel to be more than just about hair & stuff...you know? Knowledge is power and I will try to use the little bit of knowledge I have to help others.
She is beautiful gurl!!! Stay positive and prayerful, ur already been blessed and I'm sure u always will be. My mom went thru the same situation and I know how stressful it can be. God doesn't make mistakes
You are so right...I feel like after I survived that one surgery that I could take anything...I just pray I don't have to go thru it again. Thanks for watching and Happy Mother's Day.
Thanks...I hope its nothing serious too...I actually feel cool today. I think last night I ate too much salad. I love salad but something about it makes my stomach all gasy and bubbly...lol.
My mom has this, she says it can be so painful sometimes. i havent heard her complain about it ina while so im quessing shes doing a liddo bit better. thanks for sharing !
That's the thing about the tumors...it can be very painful at times and then sometimes you feel normal. I remember I was out once and the pain just came out of nowhere and it brought me to my knees crying. Tell your mom to still get checked out, even if the pain comes & goes. Thanks.
your daughter is beautiful. :O) i appreciate your having posted this video. it is very helpful. i am considering uterine fibroid embolization to deal w/ my situation. i hope you feel better.
My aunt had this same surgery this January... She said it was painful also but now she is much better and the heay bleeding is gone. Ur daughter is a DOLL!!
Yes girl the surgery is very painful but effective. I am living each day by the grace of God and I had surgery Oct 2005 and Jordan was born January 2007. God is good all the time!!! Thanks for watching.
My Mom had A Fibroid tumor the size of a grape fruit. and it was 3 more forming around it. but the weird thing my mom didn't know what it was, she looked pregnant, and the tumors were absorbing alot of blood from her and she almost died. the doctors told her they didn't know how she was living cause she had low low blood. thamx so much for giving us more knowledge about these tumors. God Bless
Your mom is truly blessed for surviving.Alot women are afraid to have them removed because of the pain associated but losing so much blood is not good. My mother & brother had to donate blood to me during my surgery cuz I lost so much. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Philly, that was so touching, and meaningful. I'm glad you care enough to share this info. with us, and Happy Mother's day to you too. Take care and God Bless!
It was my pleasure to share. I know the internet can be very impersonal but I just don't care...this topic is too important not to share with others. Life is too precious!
I appreciate u watching...seriously- fibroids are really a nightmare. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. Take care sis and thanks again for watching.
Great video. I too had five large fibroids, however, I was able to dissolve them naturally. Women must know about this dreadful disease.

ETANI83 1 year ago
@ETANI83 myomectomy or hysterectomy are covered by all major insurance carriers. I paid for nothing...its not cosmetic surgery...its reconstructive because its removal of blood tissue that can become fatal i.e. cancer or death if not treated.

Hello PhillyDiva19154!
Was it the recovery that was the worst? I found out i have 3 of them a couple months back and my gyn immediately put me on contraceptives to shrink them gradually. (They're only about an inch a piece right now.)
How long did you stay in the hospital and what happened after you went home the first couple weeks?

Have any of you all heard of systemic enzymes? I would research it because it's worth it, in efforts to resolve issues with fibroids. I bought it from Whole Foods, and the actual product name is ViraStop, it has something in it that eats away at the fibrin, which is what the fibroids are made of. we begin losing our systemic enzymes around age 27 which helps our bodies heal, and eliminate excess fibrin. The excess fibrin stays in the body, and forms things such as uterine fibroids.
edjulw 2 years ago
excess fibrin also causes other ailments in our bodies. Just please research systemic enzymes or proteolytic enzymes. It's worth it. And get really extensive with the research as I have. You can not take it with any blood thinners though
edjulw 2 years ago
Thanks for your words of encouragement...I too have a uterine fibroid that drives me crazy when it come to wearing certain clothes b/c of it protruding...I was suppose to have my surgery to remove them, but due to me wanting another child and the recommendation of my Obgyn, i held off...
marsimone1 2 years ago
listen to me...you can the suregery and still have children afterwards...I had the surgery called a myomectomy instead of hysterectomy and I had surgery like in October 2005 then gave birth to my daughter in Jan 2007...anything is possible through the grace of God...trust!
PhillyDiva19154 2 years ago
Have your Fibroids returned? Ive heard from so many whose fibroids have returned...Ive done some research about the UFE (uterine fibroid embolization) this procedure stops the blood flow to the fibroids and i believe has a better success rate of fibroids not returning.
marsimone1 2 years ago
praise God...no my fibroids have not come back...and its been over 4 yrs. I do get checked out every 6 months though rather once a year for my obgyn checkup just to be on the safe side and I also take birth control to help regulate my cycle and they help.

thanks for the info!! Many doctors recommend hysterectomy first. we must become educated about treatment available because it is not always freely give. Thanks Again for informing women about their choices!!
ptiffyc 2 years ago

Thank you for sharing.
danadane827 2 years ago
Hey PhillyDiva, this one really hit home! I had a myomectomy Jan. 15, 2004. The surgeon removed 17 fibroids!! I was teaching aerobics and my tummy protruded regardless of my workouts. So it's been 5 years and like your surgeon said, some of mine have grown back. I go for another ultrasound next month. But I am going to ask about the embolization, I don't want a hysterectomy.
micheleutube 2 years ago
Yeah I had a doctor appt a couple weeks ago because I was getting the pains again but Im all clear...regular checkups are so important.
PhillyDiva19154 2 years ago
thank u SOOO much for this video, i just found out about 3 weeks ago that i have a large fibroid...luckily i have had no symptoms or pain from it just noticed my tummy starting to poke...i am only 23 and a hysterectomy is OUT OF THE QUESTION. ive done nothing but research since i found out. i am scared but it makes me feel a little better to know how common it is.
vhuey123 2 years ago
Oh you are most welcome...it was actually my pleasure to provide the info and you are right- fibroids are very common especially in African American women...doing your research is key. Thanks for watching.
PhillyDiva19154 2 years ago
i had a myomectomy in in 2006 for intramural fibroids. I am worried about my infertility. the doctor who did the surgery says i should not have any problems if i wanted to have another child in the future. now i am afraid that the fibroid has returned. i will soon be thirty-nine year old. I have an appointment for an ultrasound. I just hope that my fibroid did not return. what should i do. i am worried about my fertility.
trilby80 2 years ago
You are doing the right thing by having an ultrasound or seeing a doctor. Honestly I wouldn't listen to the surgeon because nothing in life is gauranteed- and I am not trying to scare you- but dont be naive about the truth either. I mean you may be blessed and they may not come back but studies show sometimes the fibroids do come back and that is my fear. I think you should consult with your doctor about preserving your fertility and by all means pls dont have a hysterectomy..God bless sistah.

well I had fibroid tumors about a year ago and it was painfull for me but I did not go to another doctor to get a second opinion about it I had a partal histromy and I really regret it because I only 30 years and do want another baby with my husband I didn't know at the time but it's been so hard for me real hard to deal with it but I prey everynight for God to give me strengh thanks for shareing this with every one I do feel you pain and good luck in the near future with your health
sweetpoonanny77 2 years ago
I hope that you don't have2 go through that procedure again. I could see the fear n your eyes wen you were talking about it. Just know this 1 thing...God's n the business of healing, without surgery. Speak n2 yourself everyday that you are healed and nothing can come against you. NO weapon formed against me shall prosper...Our words are very powerful. Take the word(God's) literally. He is waiting 2 show you how powerful He is.
God Bless!

That's the thing about the tumors...it can be very painful at times and then sometimes you feel normal. I remember I was out once and the pain just came out of nowhere and it brought me to my knees crying. Tell your mom to still get checked out, even if the pain comes & goes. Thanks.
