IDK if it's already been addressed, but you can find the Avatar art book on Amazon for anywhere in the hood of 20-25 bux depending on if it's new or used.
straight. these are surely my largest influences. watched some of the anime scenes over and over, spazzing out like a lil dork. very much an impact. i really should start getting art books. seems like it'll prob boost the art soul. lol my cheap arse. good looking, sir. :)
I got the FMA book and the avatar book. The other one was available on kinokuniya but i rather have illustration based on his other shows. Now all we need is the boondocks book.
I was thinking of doing one of these stash things myself as i recently acquired Gonzo strike witches and Aegis of uruk production arts from my animation company. But i guess i do one of these when i have a vid cam.
@lloydyyyyyy Very Soon. It will be not only just be a how to make an anime feature. it will be a "mini docu" shown in sections, about life of a foreigner who lives and works as an animator in South Korea, showing the process, also interviews with korean animators on the industry. :-)
can't wait for that, i am very interested in modern animation techniques as i aspire to be an animator one day, been my dream since i was 6 & i decided that i'm going to pick it up again
@Blballerboy not yet! I'll be reviewing the first edit this week! it's still being edited. hopefully plan to up it in the next month or so! new video finally coming soon. :)
that avatar book is almost like a spoiler since that picture on the side of aang looks exactly like him except taller and with long black hair..... maybe a peak at what he will look like in legend of korra?
@jordan32none if you saw the first one, you'll notice similarities until ep 13 (there are some different things in the first 13 so dont skip it), thats where it branches off and becomes its own show. I recommend it, its actually better then the first one.
@jordan32none BROTHERHOOD (2nd one) follows the manga, chapter for chapter, where as the first one went off on its own because the creator at the time was not finished with the manga series. once the creator finished the manga series, Bones decide to redo the series because it was so successful, and with her guidance, she led the studio to BROTHERHOOD, the definitive FMA series. :-)
REDLINE FTW!!
