It has a built in condensor mic so the sound quality is good plus it's really easy to use. Automatically sets the levels, the only thing that let's it down is the video quality but for YouTube vids it's perfect. I don't plug in and I use no mics so what you hear is just what the camera pics up. Hope this helps you :) check out my newest vid simple love song!
