I still watch Winnie the Pooh, I still read the books, I still collect Piglet plushies, and I still have my Winnie the Pooh bear. Every time I hear this song, it makes me want to cry, because I remember being young and innocent again. But it also makes me very happy, for the exact same reason.
This song is sacred. I know for many of us now, it's the only way to feel some sliver of what childhood was. It brings you back. If there's ever a shitty remix done by some rapper or (god forbid) Bieber, there will be blood. Oh, will there be blood...
When my nephew was taken by CPS for ridiculous reasons a few years ago, this is the song we dedicated to getting him back. Every time one of us got sad and lost hope in getting him back, we played this song. His mom has had full custody again for 10 months today. I just remembered this song when his mom sent me a picture of him with a Winnie the Pooh doll. I got goosebumps at the first sound of music. This song has so much meaning to me. I love it.
I'm forteen I'm scared of movie theaters ( Don't jusdge me) So I almost am never willing to see movied with people... I called up my friend asked her to come see it with me...It was amazing and now it'son video and I shall buy it and make my other friends watch it.
This is the first time I had actually heard the full song. I love Winnie The Pooh. I heard part of this song on an espisode on Full House, and I was wondering who sang this gong. I would like to thank Monny287, who posted the name of the song and who sung it. I'm going to listen to this song a million times over the next week.
This absolutely KILLS me.. Right when he says "Back to the days of pooh" My lord.. It takes me back to when i was little and happiness came easier and i didnt have to worry about sex and drugs and drinking and my parents hating me. All there was was My mom and me and My gram and it was us against the world...but we were happy...Now...Im just another teenager that her parents hate and the world wants to shun...But back to the days of this..makes me wana be a kid again and make everything alright.
This song is amazing. Always a classic to me. The pay off is at the end. Sometimes I find myself screaming out "COUNT ALL THE BEES IN THE HIVE! CHASE ALL THE CLOUDS IN THE SKY! CHASE THE CLOUDS!" lol
Man, I've changed a whole helluva lot over the years, but even as a grown man, as a father, a fighter, and an all around bad ass, it still made me cry. I instantly burst into tears. I haven't heard that song in too long it seems.
This song reminds me of my older sister and how I things were when I was little. Sadly, I lost her in 2007. She loved winnie the pooh and would always play this song when I would go somewhere with her, back when I was a little kid.
its really sad but, today's 2011. this is the first time that i heard the song. it woke me up in my afternoon nap and i jot down the lyrics and try to find this song on the Google search bar. I never knew such wonderful song existed. :)
i never thaught that much of this song but in 6th grade one of my laungage teachers played this song and then told us about times in his life and y this song means so much to him. we all shared storys some sad some happyand then listen to it again and almost everyone cryed. Brings back so much memories. I saw the commercial for the new one and remembered this song. The things in the back during the whole song were kinda annoying
@jraconos I agree with you, but there are still few, like myself, who remember a time when life was simple and we all had a hundred acre woods full of memories and a bridge with a bear fishing in the water who'll always remember those sacred times even when I'm a hundred. My name is Asher Miller and I'm 17. There'll always be hope for any generation.
@jraconos I was born in this generation. Im 13 years old. I dont play COD I play with friends, we run and im in love with this song because my father sung it to me when my parents were together. @jraconos I had a recent "return to Pooh Corner" when I decided that even at my age, I'm still a little princess at heart. ^_^ The only hope for future generations is if we help our children to cherish their Days of Pooh.
Liking Winnie the Poo at 13 is no more or less weird at thirteen than it is at 52. Viva la Difference! Indulge an old man, read Robert Frost's "A Road Less Travelled;" maybe it will make all the difference to you too.

this is so weird I also remember this from like at least 14 years ago when i was quite young and I haven't heard it since then. but all of the sudden I saw the name christopher robin and had this faint memory of this song. its odd finding it again. especially now that my music taste is quite odd to say the least
My mom would always sing this to me when I was little to get me to go to sleep. It worked. After hearing this for the first time in a long time, I cried.
My Dad used to play this song for me on his 12 string guitar when i was young. I hadn't heard it in years. then last night the power in my neighborhood went out for several hours, we decided to pull the old 12 string out and play some tunes my dad played this song for the first time in 20 years, I remembred it instantly and havent stopped thinking about it since.

I love this song for a couple of reasons one is it makes me think about the times when I was a little girl and now that I have two boys my youngest son wants me to sing this song to him when he goes to sleep at night. He calls it the Pooh Song.
This song makes think about the time when I was a kid and now that I have two boys they always ask me to play the Pooh Song and when I play it my youngest song wants me to sing it to him when he goes to sleep.
my mom sings this to me everytime i couldnt sleep or was feeling low. This song makes me cry...i miss the old days. And i love my family...this song makes you think about the little things in your life that you love and loved so much.
i remember this song when i so young. this was one my favorite song of all time. i like listening to this song to think "back to the days" of my childhood. Thanks for posting this
I find it funny that the guy who made Danger Zone also made this song; they couldn't be more different songs. Still, I adored this song as a child, and I still do today.
This will always be my oldest son song he was called pooh bear. I hear it and it brings back so many memories. And he slept with my old bear and that old bear wink at me.
My parents used to play this song for me to help me sleep and because I. LOVED. POOH BEAR! I had all the toys, the movies, I watched every episode. Pooh Bear and Tigger were my life. Then Disney ruined it by making the CGI "My Friend' s Tigger and Pooh." But I am glad that they're making a new movie with the traditional 2d animation.
I remember this from when i was really young. Ive always loved this song. I mainly listen to rock, metal, stuff like that but secretly this is one of my all time fav songs. Kinda like a 'dirty little secret'
I used to love this song, but it made me so sad, i finally realized why. It's about growing up, and i was so afraid to, now i'm only 17 and I've already grown up, way to soon, I miss the days when growing up was a fear that was so far away. :'(
When i was a little girl my Daddy ALWAYS sang this song to me, along with GoodMorning Beautiful.(because i slept in my parents) Listening to this song makes me realize that i'm growing up. (im almost 16) I just want to go back to the days when i woke up right between my parents and feeling all that love from the moment i wake up till the second i go to bed. I just realized, i never want to grow up.
i love this song i lisend to it when my dad was sent over seas it made me think about him i missed him so and it brought tears to my eyes im 12 and this was when i was 3.
brings a tear to my eye...the memories flood back of my dear pooh bear kitty and all the wonderful companion kitties I've had through the years ...such a lump in my throat right now it almost hurts...
my friends name is christopher robert and he was telling me how his parents used to sing this to him when he little because his name was like christopher robin. him and i are very close and its funny because my family called me paigey pooh and pooh bear when i was little.
my parents used to put me to sleep with this song, and i still get so peaceful and happy listening to it. i dont think i will ever stop loving this song...
my mom used to sing this song to me when i was little.....i was OBSESSED with winnie the pooh my room was legit painted to look like the hundred acre wood<3 i miss those days:/
i had a gig to do at the local childriens hospital and i played it and the kids loved it and the staff did also and i always loved this song my self this is my favriot kenny loggens song
apperently everyones dad sung this song to them when they were little ive always known this song as the christopher robbin song if i have a son when i get older i will deffently sing this song to him
My dad used to sing this to me when I was little. I found this video by googling it, I wanted to learn the lyrics so I could sing it to my 9 month old baby boy! Thanks!
i remember this song. i was so little. but i remember. and i use to listen to little bunny foo foo right b4 it. now i forgot what it was called but now i know
my parents sang this to me when i was a baby i herd it again at camp i didnt know how i knew all the words than my parents told me they sang it to me all the time when i was a baby i cry whenever i hear it but its a good crying :',) so many good memorys <3 from camp and when i was a baby when my parents call this is what i hear im 14 now and i still listin to it all the time
when i was little my papa used to play this song on my birthday, new years, and Christmas and we'd sing it, i never thought id find it and I'm so glad i did, i lost my grandfather in October and this song makes me cry every time i hear it </3
This song is so important to my kids and me. They're almost grown up now, but they'll never grow up too much to want to cuddle with their mom to this song. (BTW I"m using my son's youtube account -- that's why it says ballerkid ; p )
@wrangel15 my dad showed me it i think its cute and good i went to one of his concerts one time and he said this biker guy kept giving him the stink eye then he finally told him why he wannted him to play this song! lolz then he told us he never thaught that song would be the bikers new theme song! lolz :D XD
@atmbok You're very welcome. Too bad I only heard this song when I was in college already and I have nothing to reminisce. I just want to dedicate this song to someone when I created it. :)
somewhere along time's line I lost my way back to the 100 acre woods...now I have my little boy on the way any time now, and I am feeling young and anew again through all the good times we will share together starting with my childhood bear, BlueBear...I'm finally home...
It makes me miss home quite a bit.. It happens to be one of my favorite songs from my childhood.. My mom would play it for us when she was going through a divorce with my Blood Father.. every night before we go to bed..
reminds me of my childhood

Sadly, there are no more "Days of Pooh"...
There's not much to be done by kids these days except video games and TV.
The only things that are counted are points and kills for their K/D ratios on COD,
And the only things being "chased" are the latest exploits of those in the latest reality show.
There's no Return to Pooh Corner for this generation because, for them, it never really existed.

I find it funny that the guy who made Danger Zone also made this song; they couldn't be more different songs. Still, I adored this song as a child, and I still do today.
