@Alightfoot79 First off, He didn't kill his son. Jesus GAVE His life because He loves us! He died for our sins. John 3:16-18 says: "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever doesn't believe stands condemned already because He has not believed in God."

I never hear this song without tears in my eyes. I am a Christian.. a follower of "The Way, The Truth & the Life", my sweet Jesus... but my children are not. My son is an alcoholic, my daughter, married 3 times with 4 children...My heart aches for them, & I pray daily. Knowing that Jesus will accept them AT ANY TIME THEY COME TO HIM keeps me sane, & I know that He is carrying them for me because I cant carry them any longer. I laid them at the foot of His cross.
