Hey, great job! Just a quick question - I also use a P and the PJB Bass Buddy, what are your settings on it for this kind of tone? It seems to have flat EQ, compressor off, but active setting on? Am I getting this right?

It's difficult to explain - there are hundreds of other I like - this one just has a bit of everything that's great about Jamerson, plus a superb Motown arrangement, production, and Stevie of course....he's a God to me.

i think i'm onto something ... just listened to you play "uptight" and now i have to add it to my 'don't make me choose' list. my theory, until proven wrong, is that something about stevie -- himself or his songs -- raised the bar for jamerson, his own bar, already sky-high bar.
