I always admired the Queen Elizabeth Tudor from the first time I listened her story in General History class; and when I saw the movies I admired her more than before. She was a Great and brave Queen who dedicated all her life to England and her kingdom. The video is beautiful, I like it too much. It shows all the characters who represented the Queen Elizabeth Tudor; no matter who represent the Queen, her life was a great story and she was a Great Queen.
In my opinon Kathrine hated the wrong person afterr her devorce Anne not the one who broke the vow to love honnor and charish her till death do he part that was HENRY
Elizabeth got her mothers intelligence, and wit. But she didn't have the abbilaty to attracked men and keeo them around like her mother. Her mom knew how to work men, and knew exzactly what buttons to push. She just happend to slip up and that was the end for her but Elizabeth knew exzactly what she was doing and she lasted a VERY long time because she knew so much.
@kerinapetshop she got her head cut off because she was married to a bastered and a tyrant who was slowly losing his mind each day, that and the fact that she had not yet delivered Henry a son.
i started crying at 2:56. just blew me away. I love it. and also, thank you for putting in little bits of the relationship between Robert and Elizabeth :) im their biggest fan alive and also Anne's. x
First of all you put a lot of hard work into this video. Second, it was one hell of a good job. As a matter of fact it was "OUTSTANDING WORK." Keep up the good work I hope that you can make more "OUTSTANDING WORK" like this one.
Please, create videos with songs that really show the feeling and the intensity of the history. This is the most horrible thing i have ever seen. Phil Collins with the TUDORS???? You are in drugs!!!.
Oh, this was lovely. Really, trully heartwarming. Thank you for posting this =]
Cate Blanchett was a very good Elizabeth, don't you think. I remember watching that when I was about nine, and my mother fast-forwarding the burnings at the start... random what you remember...
I love this video!!! It's really sad because Elizabeth never really got to know her mother very well...but anyway I think this is really good! I hope you make more :-) xx
Could someone please thumbs this comment up to rectify my mistake? Thank you =)
I'm so sorry about that. I completely agree with you. I think there's a book about Elizabeth finding Anne's diary, but I haven't read it, so I have no idea how good it is.
Lovely video. I've always liked Anne/Elizabeth videos. Yours is by far one of the best! :) *sigh* I pity Anne and Katherine equally. They were both strong women, but unfortunately were caught in Henry's "greater game." Their daughters were strong too...even though poor Mary led her country into bankrupcy and heart-break towards the end...
Thanks, I believe Henry was the greatest villain in the whole course of Tudor History. I pity Anne too, but I like Catherine and even Jane Seymour more than her.
Yes I like katherine of aragon as my favorite wife then there is anne boleyn and then last but not least katherine parr.
I dont pitty anne but it is sad what happened to her, both women stepped over others, thatis anne and katherine but both were strong and yeah henry did mess up everything!!
Oh I like Katherine as my favorite wife and then there is anne boleyn and last but not least katherine parr.
katherine and anne were VERY MUCH alike, waited 7 years to marry henry to get that crown! and both were strong, warrior in different kind of battles but warriors, and they did not care if tgheir daughters were women to inherit the throne, they would do whatever it took for their daughters, despite the fact that men were against it, to be queens.
Anne was a self confident, determined, ambitious, quick-tempered, passionate and spirited person. She was pious but not rigid, clever, conniving, and loyal to those she loved. She had a gentle heart when needed -- showing kindness to the poor. Like her daughter, Queen Elizabeth I, she was adventurous, influential and advantageous.
Besides the bits with Mary this video almost brought me to tears. Some1 should make one like this but include alot of movie/tv portrayals of elizabeth and anne.
I saw the Jane Seymour video and you asked for suggestions and this is something I had in mind, I love it! I love how you made things look so parallel between mother and daughter. I think it would be cool to have a video with The Tudors Anne and Henry and then the Other Boleyn Girl's Mary and make a music vid about how Mary was in favor then overshadowed by Anne to a song like "Apologize" by OneRepublic. Just a suggestion. Hope to see more!
I am sorry for both Henry's daughters, especially Mary, who witnessed the whole divorce. At least Elizabeth was too young to understand when her mother was beheaded, or else she would grow up as bitter and unhappy as her half-sister.
Really Wonderful video but I have to say I think it would be better if you remade it with Anne Boleyn from The Other Boleyn Girl starring Natalie Portman. The costumes and scenery are more similar than in The Tudors. Still great video and I love the song.
I haven't watched The Other Boleyn Girl yet, since it will be shown in cinema in late April/May. Although I love Philippa Gregory's novels as entertainment, I am afraid she took too much liberty in history. Thus, I think Natalie Dormer's Anne is a more realistic portrait of the real Anne Boleyn, personality-wise. Anne in The Other Boleyn Girl seems to be too cold-blooded.
Yes, I agree. Personally, I am not a fan of Anne Boleyn but I disliked the way Philippa Gregory portrayed her. It made her became a one-dimension villain. I like Gregory's novels, but just for the drama and entertainment in them.
No she didn't, Henry sent Mary Boleyn away before he even ended up with Anne because he was bored with her like he got bored with every one of his mistresses and wives. The true villain of this family is Henry and Henry alone. He left almost every woman he was ever with in total wreckage. Anne was his most important Queen, she matched him at so many levels and in the end produced him his most successful heir, Elizabeth I, who is a wonderful mix of the two.
@hiserature I hated that book and the movie. Anne was a moth drawn to the flame. She controlled her destiny unlike many women who settled with their fate. She fought for her love and won.

It is true that I don't really like Anne Boleyn in many parts, but I like to view things from different people's points of view.
Anne, in spite of all her faults, was a fascinating historical figure and had an interesting story.
