the video missed the most important point. signs and symptoms... so here it is: conjectival and oral erythema and erosion. edema of hands and feet, palmar erythema, erythema of soles and finally, cervical lymph node enlargement, hence the term "mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome"

I am a parent of a 5 yr old boy who had every symptom to the "T" in March 2009 and the doctors DID NOT diagnose my son I DID and it is awful when you have a child and don't know what is wrong because you assume your doctors know best but my gut told me other wise and finally I my son saw a doctor in "pediatrics for the center of disease control " that was not happy that my son did not get seen earlier nor treated Thank God he lived and was not part of the 1% that doesn't live through it.

Wow I can't bealive I almost died from this whene I was three and now after thierteen years later now I want to know what was, and why istit named after a dirt bike, LOL? My son had KD when he was 3, hes now 18 and with no known adverse effects. Get a doc familiar with KD, and let them steer you through it, our prayers are with you.

i was diagnosed with KD when i was 3, i'm 15 now. but i do experience some chest pain at times and i'm very concern with that. i think KD may be the reason why i have arthritis. is it ?
