  • these lesbian activists try to use the crime of gay bashing as a way to claim victim status, despite the fact that only gay males are the targets of gay bashing. Being gay bashed is not a fear that lesbians face now, or have ever had to face in the past. It is no more wrong to tell a lesbian that you think she is a closet heterosexual, than it is to tell a straight man that you think he is a closet homosexual. Its called teasing/arguing, and it is healthy.

  • why are so many people talking in the background?

  • The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, along with the Canadian Human Rights Commission and any other arms of Canada's censorious bureaucracy need to be abolished ASAP.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah dude, you do sound like a fucking asshole.

  • the judge will probably be a dyke

  • @PGKKK comments like this remind people how important it is we still have human rights enshrined in Canada, and a tribunal to call to task those who aim to infringe on the human rights of others.

  • @archestratus what is the controversy now? I said judge will probably be a dyke - so what? I recall the Toronto gay circus Pride Parade started off with DYKES ON BIKES proudly displaying themselves and their club's name - go after them if you have an issue with my comment. Please pick your issues with more care as there is no issue raised here by me, and your remarks (criticism?)

are simply vague and without apparent purpose.

  • @Dipstikk, because comedy is all about focus. If something catches your eye, it's probably caught someone else's. This can draw away from one's performance, but it also provides an opportunity to engage the audience, by making a joke about it. Had it gone well, the couple would have started paying attention, and anyone else who had seen, would be brought back to the show. The court docs say they were sitting up front. Had they been playing cards, it might have been a rude, gambling joke lol.

  • If they where offended, they should have left =\

  • I'm offended by the blatant disregard for freedom of speech here, but I also despise these amateur hour dirtbags who think that the only way to be funny is to kick around the social underclass. In fact, I really can't stand it, and that's all comedy has become. I'm not in support of the tribunal, but in some way, I'd like someone to send these interchangeable "asshole comedians" a message.

These women heckled the guy AFTER he began harassing them for kissing. Why's he harassing them for PDA?

  • @Dipstikk In Canada, freedom of speech does not apply to hate speech.

  • @zutandmerde I can learn to like that policy.

  • Who has the rights in this sham of a country. These lesbian bitches are going to shut down the live comedy industry. You won't be able to say anything. Now lesbians can be as disruptive and disrespectful in public and we can't say a damn thing or we get sued. Another win for political correctness. This guy lost btw. He and the club have to pay the lesbians 22000 dollars. Luckily he is appealing.

  • @bogdanmil tell you what, you go start a paypal account to fund his defense while I'm busy crying a river the "great harm"

  • Knocker: "Knock, knock."

    Knockee: "Who's there?"

Knocker: "2 lesbians who walked into a bar in the most liberal province in Canada and then used a human rights tribunal to trample on freedom of speech."

Knockee: "2 lesbians who walked into a bar in the most liberal province in Canada and then used a human rights tribunal to trample on freedom of speech who?"

    Knocker: "AIDS."

If you laughed, you are a terrible person, because nothing about this is funny.

  • He feels "ejected" from society for doing what he did, and he's concerned 'cause his job and life is affected. Imagine what homosexuals might feel when excluded from society thanks to "jokes".

  • @neoflyboy That's a bit much. Anyone who has watched a significant amount of comedy can tell you that hecklers come in all shapes and sizes, sexual orientations, intelligence levels, etc., etc. The only thing that links them all is their arrogance.

Situational comics attack hecklers based on the situation and the characteristics of the heckler that deviate from the norm; that's true in all situations. None of the other hecklers went home at night with PTSD...PTSD! Really? Come on now.

  • Guy, heard you on Oakley this morning. Keep us posted as to the "Cost" of this horror. My wallet will help if it can.

  • @kuladeeluxe Your wallet already is helping, no matter who's side you're on. Our tax dollars are paying for all this.

  • sorry but if you heckle a comic you deserve to get publicly humiliated.period.end of statement.

  • Haha! So fun to watch the massive fail.

  • This guy comes across as a very negative person. "Washed up" is what comes to mind when I see/listen to him.

  • the argument that it's hate speech or not doesn't really factor into it at all. free speech protects that too.

sorry, human rights don't protect you from name calling.

  • the argument that it's hate speech or not doesn't really factor into it at all. free speech protects that too.

  • Please, people, don't lump all gay people into this. As a gay comedian, I hope those goddamn dykes choke on a cock.

  • Canadian comics are advised to stick to making fun of Christians. Any heckling by perverts or other elite members of the "oppressed" must be answered with groveling submission.

  • seeing some nasty whores slobbering on each others long dyke tongues is, if youll excuse me, fucking rather disturbing. try doing a show when theres a show being put on right in front of you. too bad those cunt in the court of "justice" dont read comments, where real people say real shit. i cant believe they actually filed for post traumatic stress disorder just to be as douchy as possible to this comedian. yeah hes edgy and at times pissed off, but try doing what hes doing for a living, DYYYKES

  • Im on earle's side

  • they didn't heckle him. people who were at the club said that they didn't even say anything towards him. they sat down and ordered drinks and that caught his attention and then they kissed. if he was mad that they ordered drinks then shouldn't he have also said things to the waitress who was also talking? she threw the drink at him because he came over to the table and started ripping into them with vulgarity and disrespect. no one is going to sit there and take that

  • You're a douche Earle.

  • Dikes and Homos live their whole lives with chips on their shoulders. It sucks to be them!

  • freedom of speech is an American invention... Canadians don't even know what that means...

  • Look at him. He's Jesus. Crucified again. It is kinda weird how Jesus talks now, but you know now that he's back he is gonna be a man of these times.

  • BULLSHIT.. fucking embarrassed to be Canadian on this issue. Go to the USA, UK, or Australia Guy, you'll find an audience that isn't a fucking PC nightmare.

  • The Aristocrats

  • "Tribunal member Murray Geiger-Adams said Earle repeated vulgar language in public and attacked Pardy's identity and dignity as a woman and a lesbian and ordered the payment for lost wages and for injury to dignity, feelings and self respect."

I understand payment for lost wages...... but a compensation for HURTING SOMEONE'S FEELINGS??? What the fuck?

  • @xblJBechen How the fuck did she lose wages? Totally bogus charges.

  • @bogdanmil There was more to the story that I couldn't fit in, but now that I read it over again, I misread a sentence about how the human rights tribunal made the restaurant owner that had the comedy night pay up to the lesbian, too. I thought it had something to do with the owner getting something back for a botched comedy night, but it's not.

I guess they mean the lesbian skipped work to file a complaint and Earle's gotta pay her back or some shit.

  • @xblJBechen It's total bullshit. We need to stop this crap. Her human rights were not taken from her in any way.

These tribunal are meant to help people that lose jobs, or or can't get jobs or housing based on race, religion, age sexual orientation et al. She was at a fucking comedy club he should have kicked her in the cunt after she threw her drink at him. Uh-oh The youtube human rights council may sue me for that comment. Lighten up folks.

  • what a cunt

  • This guy is really not at all funny and it seems his only humor is to pick on people who are weaker than he is. Someone put a xxxx in her mouth is just so disgusting on so many levels that I feel ill. What a low-life.

  • @Sandyhendry So don't fuckin' listen to him you bitch.

  • @Sandyhendry Poor baby!! Maybe you can sue him too. Get the fuck over it.

  • LMAO HAHAHAHAHAHA @ Fat ugly lesbians who can't get dick

  • so if a comic makes fun of my big nose, i can sue his ass?? ooo boy you should see the schnoz on me, i'm gonna make a fortune!!! thanks lesbo's!!

  • Billy Connolly's classic riposte to a heckler would have been appropriate:

By any chance does your mouth bleed every twenty-eight days?

  • does anyone know what the outcome of this case was?

  • @MrTpolich

Earle is to pay this maggot 15 large, plus interest; and the restaurant/club another 7 grand plus. He also has to pay his own legal costs, while hers are covered by the Tribunal.

    Human rights my arse.

  • Comment removed

  • this guy was at my house yesterday

  • This dude ain't funny, no amount of homo-phobia is going to change that.

  • @archestratus That's not the point. Human rights commissions have no business in comedy clubs period!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @bogdanmil The Human Rights Commission didn't go into a comedy club. Two patrons from the comedy club filed a complaint as a result of this goofball's hate-speech in a public place. And on Davie Street no less!

How dim is a comedian who goes to a club in Vancouver thinking that homophobia will go over well?

Good comedians skate close to the line, and they're funny. Bad ones cross it and get burned.

Reminds of Michael Richards' (Kramer) similar career-ending racist tirade on stage.

  • Good on Guy for pissing off these two lesbian pigs. He's so right, any woman who likes dildoes is not a lesbian.

  • @resedoton Lesbian Pigs? Well someone is an asshole.

  • This guy could make a fortune selling advertising space on his massive forehead. Too bad there's not a big brain behind it.

The lesbian hecklers sound like idiots, but this guy can't even tell an interesting anecdote. Now he is trying to parlay this nonevent into a career opportunity. "The Canadian Michael Richards"? He MUST be joking (and it's about as funny as the rest of his material).

  • someone put a cock in his mouth to shut him up, please.

  • this guy isn't even funny...

  • Typical commercial drive dykes who go around instigating things.

  • "Hate speech"!?! NO - FUCKING - WAY!!! IF YOU HIGH HORSE, PC FAGOTS WANT A WAR... YOU GOT ONE!!!

  • You're hilarious! Fuck the tribunal. Long live the true ass holes.

  • I work with a young full-blown d#ke. She is a complete loser, swarthy and pitiful. As a man, I tower over her work ability, yet she has the system's support so I have to treat her as an equa.

  • You should consider civil court and criminal charges.

  • Wait, when did it become illegal to insult someone?

And the PTSD comment is ridiculous. She should be charged with assault if anything.

I was under the impression that you have to make threatening comments or "promote hate." It's humiliating, as a canadian, that this is going to trial. Don't get me wrong, this guy is a douche and is barely funny, but the stupid bull dyke has as much of a right to be a drunken idiot at a comedy show as he does to be a moron.

  • This is "What the fuck" situation. If you heckle a comedian what the fuck do you expect.

  • If comics weren't allowed to offend people, I think we'd have no comedians left.

I'm sure Earle to some degree was offended by the two, or else he wouldn't have bothered heckling them back.

  • Guy, Guy, Guy...wtf have you gotten yourself into now? Ya lookin pretty squinty-eyed too.

  • Now lesbians oppress white guys.

  • wtf. free speech should be free speech. If you're offended, leave. He didn't threaten them, he insulted them. Big deal. I'd hate to think that we'd have to cater to special interest groups or risk criminal prosecution.

  • This is an on-going Court case this Guy needs to to very careful about what he says right now...

  • This stinks like a Salem witch hunt...nothing's free in this country, including speech in Canada's hyper-sensitive PC gay-worshiping political climate. The tribunal is the (unfunny) joke here...it's really scary the damage a bunch of sanctimonious wankers with a gay agenda can do to someone trying to fend off a pissed-up man-hating heckler. It's a waste of taxpayers time and money, and a fucking sickening abuse of the legal system. I'm sure many gay people feel the same.

  • @Overdrivepony Oh, it feels like a witch hunt? Aw, that's nice, so now you know what it feels like for us just to leave the house every day.

  • wow hecklers got served by the comic and they're playing the discrimination card, how typical..

  • you're no asshole dude!

  • Judge Judy Rules: Both parties guilty! Case Dismissed!! *gavel whack*

  • blah blah blah

dude you really need to grow up, if you had a brain you would have invited them on stage to perform indecent acts. "how can I be arrested?" you weren't arrested and you aren't in front of a court you're in front of a tribunal. In the realm of reality, your lawyer is right, they don't have jurisdiction to call you before them but he was an idiot for walking out he should have heckled them until he was removed.

  • @entirelyfakename The point is because of this bullshit human rights charge he's forced to pay a lwyer to defend him.

  • @bogdanmil it's not a "charge" because it's not criminal, it's probably termed an application in BC because that's what it is in other provinces. If he didn't want to have someone file a complaint on him he could have STFU which is what you should do. He should appeal it, he'll eventually win because it's bullshit, but if you don't want to get drawn into bullshit you shouldn't provoke shit.

  • who's the retard in the toque and why does he have a microphone?

  • They were there for a comedy show...thats what they got. Whats the problem? People need to quit bitching and enjoy ALL of life.

  • come on

can't say anything these days, whats wrong with this country

  • Thanks Guy! you said what all of vancouver is thinking... I mean, I like lesbians the majority of them are cool --- But I hate gay agenda's... thats what this is about...

  • If you go to a comedy show be prepared to be offened ... F%$# them!

  • Angry man-hating lesbian feminsts. So what's new?

  • just a note guys, we don't actuality have american style freedom of speech here. hence we can have something like a human rights tribunal in the first place.

It's nuts though, that someone is taking him to a human rights tribunal, for that? Bullshit. they were rude to a rude comic, get over it. That is an abuse of the tribunal system.

It's there for out right public hate speech, not for trash talk at a bar.

Ladies, you were rude. he was rude back at you. get over it.

  • @Mgorky I agree. We really need to review these Bills of Rights, quasi-judicial entities who are hidden in secrecy. The supporters give this or that excuse to justify their bias, but surely somewhere in their hearts is trying to tell them:

    ENOUGH!

  • Those 2 lesbarian barbarians should've smoked a fatty b4 the show. this would've had a whole diffrent ending. lmao

  • This comedian has nothing for which to be sorry. Those pathetic excuses for women could've gotten up and left if they didn't like his material..instead they started sh-t with him, and they got it back. Oh boo hoo, too bad. Can't act like a bully and then pretend to be a victim.

  • Freedom not to be offended is not a human right.

    If your offended so what

Freedom of speech trumps the relatively new idea that minorities have a right to be free from offence

As people have already said it's a double standard anyway because the crime of "offending" someone only exists if the person who takes offence comes from a percieved "oppressed" minority

If a straight white man takes offence he has no recourse to charge so no one else should. Oh and by the way I'm from a minority

  • @brucepig It's important to discourage derrogatory language towards people who, in this day and age, struggle to lead their lives just being who they are without facing prejudice. However, I also think freedom of speech is important and where do you draw the line if you have to start censoring comedians? So basically, people should just not be dickwads and stop saying nasty shit. Oh and by the way I'm also "a minority" but i don't see why that means your opinions is automatically more valid.

  • Canadian's are such hypocrites.

Cunts like this dyke piss and moan about Guy, and PC pussy-whipped Canadians all sigh.

But most of the same shit-dicks who complain about "offensive" Canadians, also love South Park and the Simpsons and a thousand other US shows and movies and comedians who are politically incorrect.

    Hypofuckincrites!

  • Re: "I do think we need to question a society that encourages and rewards verbal gay bashing."

    Suck my dick!

  • You don't have one.

  • Actually, remember, these women got hamered drunk before exerting their "freedom... to express public affection," as you put it. (N god knowes I DON'T mind a les-fest) But do you think this would've happened if it was a white heterosexual male "expressing public affection" to his white heterosexual female partner? ... and why?

    \m/

  • Why do I get the feeling that if Guy had made racial/anti-semitic slurs the response on this board would be different? It is still socially acceptable to bash lesbians. These women were kissing and Guy tried to limit their freedom to do so by attacking them. He started it. There is a grey area between freedom of expression and hate speech. What Guy said was bad enough that there was a protest outside the bar. My view is that if anyone was to cross the line into hate speech it would be HIM.

  • @Siouxsielin Follow my argument very closely. You may learn something.

It isn't about who said what, who was offended or right or wrong. That is left to the schoolchildren.

This is about the fundamental concept of freedom of speech that transcends any political leaning that this issue has been reduced to. The blatant disregard for due process implies the system is broken.

White Christian men have been ridiculed and dismissed for decades. Do you really want us to demand the same rights?

  • I was at the receiving end of one of guy earle's rants a long time ago. He just totally went off on me without provocation. I know exactly why that girl filed a complaint. I'm not sure which side of the philosophical arguement I am on but...I hope he loses! Regardless of the outcome, I don't believe that Guy has enough talent to go beyond his 15minutes of fame. He thinks he's Lenny Bruce...well I think he is a parody of who he thinks he is!

  • Oh, boo hoo. You got your feelings hurt so you hope the government kicks his ass. Pathetic.

  • Yeah I hope the government kicks his ass. I highly doubt that these two girls deserved his little outburst. I do believe that whatever he said was meant to humiliate them-on the basis of their sexual orientation-and that they did nothing to provoke it. I say this because I experienced his crazy behavior myself. Anyway, guy thinks he's edgy-anyone can be edgy. But you also have to be good to be a comedian. And Guy is not. He's not even on the fringes of the umbrella of comedy.

  • So, you see him as an untalented asshole and, for that, you think the hammer of the state should come down on his head. What a fucking fascist.

  • @Siouxsielin Where does this arbitrary shadow game end? You can sue and intimidate all you want, but are you really improving society? Are you?

You are less than 10% of the population, yet still find ways to further alienate yourselves.

By the way, when you align with other extreme leftist groups, you do not increase in strength, but rather merge all your poison together.

  • @Siouxsielin Poor Baby. Suck it up butter cup.

  • Siouxielin has a finger on the pulse of Guy's true intention. He's upset that HE got heckled. Boo hoo. He took out his personal distress on two women. Guy has to face something more stark and scary than a human rights panel. He has to face his failure as a comedian, as one who is too self-involved, who is taking things too personally, and who seeks personal vengeance. He's not about "love" like he says in the video. That's bullshit and not one of you has the guts to call him on it.

  • @pthompson1959 Who gives a fuck what his 'intentions' were. The governement has no business telling a comic what he/she can say. If he';s a bad comedian will will fail.

  • @Siouxsielin Oh poor baby. Why didn't you just leave?

  • @Siouxsielin Oh poor baby. Why didn't you just leave? Human rights commissions have NO business in a comedy club unless someone is fired because of the race, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. Otherwise stay the fuck out.

  • Since Canadians don't have a right to speak, neither do you have a right to NOT speak, and you must say what you are told to say. The Minister must apologize, renounce his faith, and say that he thinks homosexuality is fine with him.

Gary is about to have his mind changed.

Mr. Boissoin, the minister, was fined C$5,000. Gary is going to be working nights doing thing that pays better than stand-up.

    You'll want a reference, google for: Lund_Darren_Remedy053008.pdf

  • Wow, where did all the nut jobs come from?

To the gay and lesbian community: I support you in every way, except to suppress anyone's freedom to think and say as they choose.

Ironically, the gay and lesbian rights movement is fundamentally about freedom. This is clearly NOT a case of 'human rights', but one of 'obscenity' (some people were offended by what they perceived to be obscene). Now guess who used to be the target of obscenity laws... Yes, that's right gays and lesbians.

  • You're right. He deserved a drink to the face. And she deserved to be kicked out. Nobody deserved a lawsuit or a "tribune". Both were idiots. The comedian at least admitted as such and isn't hiding behind some false sense of righteous indignation.

  • Good grief, you have an Orwellian screen name, Watcher asshole. Go read a book and leave the speech policing to Chavez and his fascist/commie cronnies.

Who do these pigs think they are and where do they think they are living and why do they think you give a damn about them?

How about a million of you get together for a little old fashioned protest and say BAD, BAD things targeting the Watchers' most sacred holy cows and watch the watchers melt down into a puddle of powerlessness.

  • Gays these days are more often than not the enemies of Civil Liberties. WTF!!! Once upon a time they used to be first in line defending Civil Liberties. Not anymore. Sad if you ask me. PS the CHRC are a bunch of PC fascist bitches.

  • Maybe Comedians should heckle the pride parade, a comedian at least doesn't need to "get a room" when they decide to do something private in public and then make it an issue and then demand privacy when they tell you in pride.

  • Did anyone else not understand this post? (honestly)

  • I did not understand it at all???

  • I understood this. dubya3cdotcom is saying that were he to trade places with the lesbians by heckling a gay pride parade that the substance of his act would not call for a private room, nor would he demand privacy when the parade participants complained.

  • Support Private Member Bill/Motion: M-446 (Keith Martin).

"Liberal MP Keith Martin tabled M-446 which asks MP's to support the abolition of Section 13(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act. This is the section used to prosecute "hate crimes". Please contact Keith Martin and thank him for his effort:"

  • Well, of course Canadians don't have a right to speak. You're nice people and you don't get to be rude to each other. Americans are mean, they get a right to speak. How could you not know?

Anyway, regarding the worst that could happen, Gary here hasn't a clue. There is a Christian minister who isn't allowed to say anything disparaging - that's a quote BTW, disparaging - about homosexuals ever again, not even in his private life or in e-mails.

So Gary could lose that part of his act.

  • Sorry Guy , Yes Vancouver can be a fucked up Town with all the PC Bull-shit thats going down right now, Sorry dude that was not very cool for you at all. I always say "if they cant take a joke then fuck them! and double fuck them at a comedy show". please come back to vancouver look me up I will smoke some nice bc bud with You and Laugh about the whole fucking thing.

Best of luck to you Guy

    Cheers MD

  • Wow, I thought Canada had free speech. This isn't even like serious speech, it was a freaking comedy routine.

PS: I have nothing agaist pretty lipstick lesbians. They have choices lol.

  • Because of the outrageous "human rights jurisprudence" in this country, words really can be illegal.

It sounds like Earle was targeted by lesbians intent on provoking this type of incident. Why else would they go to the front row and start calling him an "asshole"?

They deserved every cuss word he gave them.

  • Welcome to Canada, the land of state-enforced politeness.

No wonder all the best Canadian comics go to work in the United States.

  • What kind of total arse posts under the name of 'YTCommunityWatch2?" Some kind of semi-retarded amateur censor...?

  • This moron is an asshole. At least he admits it. The assholes that interrupted the show with their antics are assholes, but they don't have the balls to admit it, and are hiding behind some charade of a "tribune", whining and moaning and bitching and making a mountain out of a molehill. Get a grip. In this instance, everyone is an asshole; difference is, only ONE is admitting it.

  • If you marry a heckling douchebag, then your spouse will get what they deserve. These idiots obviously didn't come to the show to be "entertained", but rather to seek attention that had nothing to do with comedy. So your comparison doesn't apply. Truly hope your spouse isn't a heckling douchebag.

  • If it's against the law to be an asshole, then we're all going to jail.

  • You should have a huge asshole protest and make it a point to all say offending things about all the liberals' most holy sacred cows. Watch the watchers of Canada melt down into a powerless puddle of hate and intolerance of you assholes. Please put it on U-tube so we can all laugh.

  • Hey watch it, buddy. This isn't a political thing. It's a stupidity thing. There are plenty of morons on the Right that try to silence speech they don't like. Don't believe me, go on t.v. and call McCain "old", "out-of-touch" or "confused". The conservative standard bearers will scream at the top of their lungs about how you're "disciminating" against McCain because of his age.

Let's keep it focused on the stupid people responsible, and not try to blame in on some abstract entity or "ism".

  • Lorna Pardy is the drunk heckler who launched this action. Anyone who values freedom and individuality should be appalled at what she is doing. I wonder how many lesbians are embarrassed that they may be wrongly thought to be sympathetic to the likes of her?

  • That this case is proceeding to the kangaroo court known as the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal is utterly disgusting. Control is de facto ownership. Therefore, the extent to which government attempts to control you is the extent to which government makes a claim of ownership on you. Should government control what you say? How do you feel about being government property?

    Disband the BCHRT now!

Not hiding behind a pseudonym, I'm Brad Reddekopp, living in Hazelton, British Columbia

  • Protest the court. Turn them into a media circus! It's fun!!!!!!

  • Thank god for humourless dykes. They're living proof that that you don't have to be male to be an overweight, beer sucking, bigoted slice of rancid lard. Thank god for diversity!

  • OK, maybe it's prohibited speech for Canadians to admit, but you don't have a right to speech. How could you not know? It's not like you're Americans.

I really don't get how anybody could be surprised.

  • YTCommuntyWatch2 is 'laughing her arse off,' well, she'll be laughing for a long time before any significant weight comes off her arse.

  • Good luck and best wishes.

  • Jesus 'YTCommunityWatch2' it's people like you who give hate crime a good name...!

  • I bet after meeting you or your spouse most people give up breathing voluntarily.

  • This is stupid. Fuck those Bitches. It's always the same shit, some people can say and do what ever they fuckin' want but when the table turns on them it's a violation of human rights! Fuck off! When you heckle a comedian, expect that comedian to hit back on the most obvious thing. If you're Bald, Hairy, Fat, skinny short, Tall, gay, lesbian, Italian, Irish. There is no fucking way this case is going to go anywhere.

  • Sorry to say, but Americans have a WAY better sense of humor, thats why ALL the good Canadian talent goes there.

On the whole Canadians are bigger polluters (per capita) and have WAY more brainwashing... Beer, Hockey, Ford, Work, Work....

If you compared Portland to Victoria, you would see Portland has dozens of cheap venues for music, $2.50 a beer, and everyone is friendly. Sorry to say BCgirl - you need to get out more.

  • The lesbians started it, they deserved it. They just got a taste of there own medicine. Comedy is all JOKES. If you take it seriously, dont bother going.

  • Seriously, these "Human Rights" Jackasses need to be STOPPED. NOW.

  • He will be famous because of this. We are all victims, we have people wasting tax money to go to court for nothing.

These lesbians are hurting there cause, its like crying wolf. They are abusing our laws trying to jail a innocent person by twisting up the laws us assholes have put in place to protect OUR rights.

  • Throwing a drink in the face is violence. Jokes are jokes. I strive for a violence free society where we can laugh together.

  • Wow, you make me miss Ontario, where there is culture, music, jokes, and people say hello to each other still. Trust me, I have been on the west coast for 10 years (+ traveled the world) and there is hardly, (other than france) anywhere with such uptight, spandex wearing, sad faced yuppie/hippie coolios. Van tries so hard with there square glasses and vintage bikes, but they are SO lame.

You are fighting the GOOD fight ! FREEDOM TO JOKE ! No gay thing, its a reflection of Canada we are boring!

  • totally agree, people from ontario seem to be more open about cultural diversity, music and life. i am sorry vancouverites you guys "act" so polite but really you are all a bunch of passive agressive, xenophobic individuals that do not understand the concept of progressive change. in addition, white folks in vancouver are more discrimintory and meaner than t.dotters for sure (this is based on my experience).

  • You will not get social progress without these comments. Why do you think a liberal democracy is the best form of governance? It is because there is a constant exchange of ideas, thoughts and opinions. Wonderful, wonderful Canada, where everyone is a victim.

  • Come to the US. We are loaded with asshole comedians. And...you won't get arrested because we have free speech here. However, the lesbians will aggressively harass you if you dare to piss them off and don't let them dominate you. Screw 'em if they can't take a joke in Canada.

  • Well, here we go again. Now humour is on trial. The HRC is now a sword, not a shield. I may not like what you say, but I will defend your right to say it. One thing I like about Canada and the US is the fact that we laugh more than the rest of the world; and we have the best comedians around. Remember that Hitler, as he was growing more and more powerful, first went after those who made fun of him and his idealogy. Thanks Guy, and keep up the good work.

  • Welcome to Canada, the home of the lame.

  • yeah, including Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, John Candy etc. at least we can laugh at ourselves, unlike mind-controlled Americans following Bush's every IQ-challenged word.

  • Actually Bush is at a 23% approval rating. He's been 30 and below for a couple years. Please don't stereotype us. Most Americans know what's going on, but because Congress is derelict in their duty to impeach, we just have to ride it out.

  • Hey Guy.... what thi sis for you is FREE ADVERTISING!! The whole country knows you now. (But you need a haircut)

  • None of the publicity will make him a good comedian. It'll make him a worse comedian because he will mistake his temporary importance with talent.

  • Actually, read comedians ceased to exist after Johnny Carson died.

  • She threw her drink in your face. charge the bag with assault. Where were the bouncers?(Afraid of being sued) But you seem kind of funny, so you come back here again, ok?

  • I live in Vancouver . I am ashamed of this place.

  • lesbians need to be taken outside raped and beheaded!
