At 3:06 I dont think the attack can just run in there and score. I know some moves he can use called the 5 and 5 where u got to 5 and 5 and do an inside roll. Or the rocker step where you fake inside roll and go around the defender. An the question mark where you fake dodge inside and turn outside and turn around and shoot.
Hey just a suggestion on your animation. When both triangles are rotating after the middie dodges, the attack man cutting across crease really needs to book it to get out of the dodgers way. Otherwise he is just dragging his defenseman into the middie.
just worked on this with my team lastnight. going to practice in like 2 hours to do it again. this is a simple play but its very affective. defense can not block it if its done right
My team is using this strategy and its pretty effective until some people just do their own thing... but we call it the duke and it really is effective.
so 2 players on the same team are close together, which gives the team less options of shooting, if the other teams defense attack both of em, they cant really shoot...
@Noobdogo also, this video isnt very high quality. have your middie back WAY up to show that hes dodging (like, farther than you think you should go, out of the box). the A on that wing gets through before he dodges, crease M goes high, whole side of the field is left open to make room to dodge. when the dodge is half-done, X man comes up wide for feed. opposite wing is at opposite post behind the cage (so 2 X men for a few seconds)
@edmondsm2 you asked this months ago, but the reason the entire offense rotates is to affect the slides, to be honest it's a really simple offense
generally when teams slide from the crease, the second slide is the backside defender, when a middie dodges from up top, the backside attackmen is rotating to X and hopefully pulls his defender with him making the slide come from further away, if not then the defenders are cheating on the slide and someone will be wide open
i really do like this offense. we mainly ran this at my high-school but we would toss in a 1-4-1 ran from "X" that i absolutely love. but i do believe this is a really good offense to run with beginners as well elite players
this realy helps!

I'm a new coach, I've been reffing for years and years, but unfortunately I know very little about setting up the players for attack and defense.
I just have two questions. This offensive setup has only 6 attackers. Where is the 7th attacker and what does she need to be doing?

@kruegda this is a boys game, where there are 6 attackers. usa style

Can someone clear up for me why the entire offense rotates on a dodge?
