Good stuff, glad someone isn't using synths just for musical usage but for pure sound exploration. Reminds me of when I accidentally made a creaking door sound on my microkorg, wish I could recreate it but it was a "happy accident" I guess.
ps. are you planning on describing the makeup of the patches in this series at any point? that would be interesting to learn about. incidentally i hadn't heard of this particular synth until today.
that's amazing. all believable to my ears - the only part I might be dubious about is the dog barking. the others are spot on, the wind, the surf sounds, seagulls, ferry horn, foghorn... great stuff :)

As for the synth, it's a currently available modular synth. There are quite a few companies making modular analog synths these days.
