As a "fundi" Christian, even I say the Creation "Museum" is a sham! I do believe in Biblical Creation, BUT, scientific evidence MUST not be ignored. Yes, our earth is 4.5 bill. yrs. old. NO, man & dinos didnt live together. Yes, there was a flood of Noah, NO it wasn't global (it was regional). So, how can I a Christian accept BOTH the Bible AND science? Just finished viewing the DVD, "Expelled" with Ben Stein. Dr. Richard Dawkins simply will not believe that the God of the Old Testament exists. He would rather believe that some unknown life forms (aliens) "seeded" this planet than to believe that the God of the Bible created it. Very sad for him.

I too grew up in this type of belief system, and I was constantly behind in the sciences compared to my peers. I struggled with comprehending the world in which I actually lived against the world in which my church wanted me to live. It's unfair to raise children up in this type of belief system, yet expect them to understand and interact in the real world.

The seminars show hundreds of scientific arguments for a young earth. They also show that evolution is also a faith. Check it out. Another good book is Icons of Evolution by Dr. Jonathan Wells. It debunks all of the things I was taught in school about evolution without even raising the age of the Earth.
