@peopleintrees You've got it all wrong. Casual is auto-aim. Normal is just aim assist, like CoD has, which snaps to an enemy when you point your targeting reticule close to them, and follows them for about 2-3 seconds (from my experience). Expert is self aim.

TBH, I find the shooting w/ expert really odd on these games, but it's probably because I'm used to shooting on MAG and Uncharted 2. It's uncomfortable lining up shots w/o the aim-assist in both GTA IV and RDR (controls feel rough).

turning off auto aim is easy dude, just pause, go to options, then controller, and set aim to "expert". Normal mode is auto aim, not sure what casual mode is, but Expert is definitely self aim.
