This game is a bit stupid for a few things: 1. You can go to orbit from anywhere while on surface, but from orbit you can only go to one spot. LOL 2.I always starting to hate games, where you can BUY POWER. Be the best per MONEY! Pirate Galaxy is the best game i've ever played.

Played it now since 1 month after the release (aprox 2,5 years). And yes it gets tiresome after a while if u play alone. But i dont. :) Be on vocie chats with players in the game and u wont leave the computer...ever again :P

Around about 20 or so. Kept posting asking when the open beta was out. No one replied for 2 months then we got notified they had no idea the forums were activated haha.....

Started playing this for those of you who are looking at this for the first time. ITs pretty decent since the specs arnt high also and alot of ppl dont upgrade there pcs this cud be definatly for you. Lots of story missions lots of planets lots of systems. Try join a clan they will help you alot. I havnt got to pvp yet but i guess itl be fun. Im not 100% sure if theres skill in moving but i mite be rong. Either moving helps you dodge or its just a % chance. ENJOY

You Need to Stay on Vega 2 And do the missions (The Yellow ones) And then Once that is done you will be able to jump planets by Clikcing on Starmap When you are in orbit.

you probably got it working by now but if you havent heres what i did. at first the game wouldnt play for me i would start it would say error. and log out. somethin bout a graphic card. so when you start go to new game. set the game quality to low. and you should be able to play. worked for me.

This game is basically any other point and click MMO but with spaceships?

It looks nice, I like the art style int he graphics and background. The ship models look really interesting, different from most other space MMOs.

But...you just point and click? It kinda takes the fun out of a space MMO for me to be honest. It would've been more fun to me if the ship was first/third person controllable, in somewhat of a dogfight style.

your graphics card must be excellent! when i play the game it runs slow after a few hours and everything is yellow and white but up in orbit its okay. the ships arent as good as it looks on yours.

seen as how this game is done in java, i dont think they've done too bad. theres a slight learning curve from the 1st planet to the second, but its fun. theres still alotta shit that needs to be aded though, like having more than one quest, or an alternate way of making money besides doing quests or grinding the fuck outa the easyer mobs.
