Don't you get access to the "Knock" spell? Isn't that what it's called? I thought that's what wizards were supposed to use on chests and stuff?

Oh, gah! Not again! Stupid me. :P

And yeah, you can get the knock spell for chests and stuff, but it is kinda a waste of a spell slot at lower levels.

Some chests give you better, and more specific weapons, if you have the Weapon Focus feat. If you don't have it, they'll give you more useless crap you don't really need. ;)

If you're going to use that crossbow through the game, you might want to pick up Weapon Focus in it if you can. :-)
