I've got the chance to see them In Odessa, Tx in 2007 during the "Funeral" tour! It was a Dos Amigo's and they couldnt of picked a better place! Kittie Rocked that show and turned me on to other bands i've never heard of!! Ment to see them in Dallas when they were touring with ICP but missed it due to expences but hope to catch them soon! BTW, They never sounded better with "INTO THE BLACK"!

I will say that the music sounds better with this harmonic influence. They've always had rhythm covered, but the less Morgan overdoes her growling, the better they sound. She actually sounds more aggressive this way. Maybe that sounds weird...

I'd be more inclined to say shes using the pick for a tighter sound-- It's going to have a bit more punch on top the bass drum. Fingers are great too but it has a very distinct sound and unless you have really strong technique (and fingers), they just wont sit well in the mix of things, especially for metal. But hey Geezer Butler and Cliff Burton played ONLY with fingers and NAILED a tight, metal sound.
