I like the other type of episodes better. I would've liked if you sped up footage of you building the breeding farm instead of skipping a part of it and keeping everything else at normal speed.

Was it the graphics card or the CPU that gave you a major boost in FPS?

@mtgking The Graphics card gave me a big boost, the CPU didn't seem to do much, but my old CPU wasn't nearly as horrible as my old graphics card, so maybe the boost just seemed more dramatic with the GPU, haha.

@TheTurbanat0r00 Thats good to know. I think I might redo most of my PC with newer parts as its like 5 years old. I think its going to be nearly the same specs just newer like DDR2 to DDR3 RAM and AM2 to AM3 CPU and stuff like that. Plus I need new graphic cards either way since old one died and can't play minecraft with onboard graphics.

Maybe do the building but, with mostly highlights or something so were not bored from all the details of the building. Under animations turn Particles to either Decreased or All to see the love animations. Also I think they have like a 5 minute cool down so go do something else or AFK when in Inventory as it doesn't pause the game but, beware or mobs trying to kill you. I don't know exactly what your trying to do with the spiders but, they do track you through walls.

@mtgking Yeah, next episode is back to the normal way (I just now finished recording it) I kinda didn't think it was as entertaining as normal, haha. And yeah I know inventory doesn't pause but for some reason the game was paused rather than.. inventoried? :P and as for the mob trap, I'm gonna try Biffa2001's idea in ep 24

Hey Turbanator. Put a piston right when they go down, so when they fall, you can press the piston to keep them from coming back up. You can even put pistons all the way down, except on the bottom block where they will stay.

Do spiders climb stairs?

@MrPJRulez Not sure, I think halfslabs are the same as stairs and they climbed those though. And I doubt I'd use a texture pack, besides faithful 32, I basically despise every other texture pack, I really like the look of the original textures :P but I'll check it out!

From what I've seen caves spiders (and all mobs) will always swim up if there is water present. They will also track you through the glass if you are at the top.

Could you try a sign at the end of that glass section to stop the water then have them just fall down that hole to the iron bars?

@Biffa2001 I tried that, sadly, if I'm in that room doing something they see me and climb back up :( I'll have to remove the glass and see how it works though

@TheTurbanat0r00 They will still track you through the walls, at least they do in my XP farm. When I walk near to them I can hear them climbing the walls and falling down!

Is it really a problem if they gather at the top? I guess when you do go down to the bottom to farm them they will then fall down (as long as there is no water there).

@Biffa2001 Nope I tried going down there as well, it seems like the spiders just love to climb, haha. And, like at 0:43 thats the problem with them climbing, it pushes all of them back up and it backs it up, I mean it could still work but I wouldn't say very efficiently haha. I'll look into it fixing it in episode 24 probably (I'm already almost done recording 23, that's why I said 24 :P) so I guess I'll just try as many methods as possible.
