or if i can change the bpm with the jog wheel and the pitch control as well, why are there 2 things that do the same? or they don't I guess, I just didn't got it right... i'm new sorry :S
@wexbroadcast You got it slightly wrong dude. The pitch control changes BPM - speed up, or slow down. With the job wheel, the BPM remains exactly the same - all you're doing is using the jog wheel to shunt the track forward by half a second or so. It moves the whole track forward, instead of speeding it up - you see?
I don't get it :S If the bpm goes back to the original speed when moving the jog wheel, what's the point of using it? It will go back to the original bpm on the headphones as well, or not? Or why I need the pitch bend if I can control the bpm with the job wheel? I'm confused lol...
@wexbroadcast When the BPM is right, but it isn;t completely in time, you can slow it down a little bit. (Till its in time) release, then it will be in time AND with the right BPM.
hey i think ur pretty sick and right now am trying 2 learn about being a dj and juss wondering around how much did that turntables with the mixer cost u???
Can we do the same thing , on cdj -400? i think yes. what is your opinion? If we have digital mode on deck , and master tempo is on , if we will move the jogwheel then we can speedup or slow down the track .
Dunno why this video was made, not that its a bad thing...
It's just... if you are this much into DJ equipment anyway, i would pressume that you allready know that this feature, and its state of the art quality, makes the CDJ1000 and the CDJ800 the best DJ CD-players in the entire galaxy...
Do all CDJ Jog Wheels feel kinda like paper mache' or similar? Because when I was checking out one at the local store it felt somewhat like paper. Thanks.
are people really this behind in knowing how to dj? .. not knocking you john, but if people cant even figure how to correctly align two tracks, perhaps look at a new hobby..
on a slightly more helpful note, pitchbend shouldnt be used toooo much, if you have spent the correct ammount of time matching beats, you will rarely need to use it. also if you are good enough you can use pitch bend instead of the pitch control for a really fast transition wich requires a bit of mixing.
How do you change the pitch from 10% to 16%???
