  • Beautiful capture spot! 5*

  • @Wongie2009 Many thanks :)

  • great vid

  • @freightliner86501 Thanks

  • Fantastic! It looks really good when you film it. Was a good day too, as there were still extra capacity trains running after the ash coulds... double hippos, and double sprinters! Ace stuff Kyle! Shame we couldn't have met up... Penmaenmawr would have been great to see the kettle!

  • @Javelin395 Thanks. Whats a "hippos"? never heard of it. Didn't realise the doubles were extra capacity, though coming to think about it I did think it was odd adding a 153 to my 158 at Chester.

As for Penmaenmawr, i've uploaded a seperate video of the kettle, but I shot it from the beach to dampen the A55 road noise.

    Cheers

  • @KBRAILVIDEOS Hippo is a more popular name to call 175s... all us North-Westerners call them Hippos "Oh watch out, another hippo" lol

Your videos are excellent. It is very strange. Seeing 150s on standard services along the coast from Chester is extremely rare... usually, they are the Blaenau trains... and then 153s, also rare.

  • @Javelin395 Thanks for the clarity. I didn't however see any 150s on the Coast as I spent most of my time north of Llandudno Jc on the line to Holyhead, though I got one from Crewe to Chester, and the same one back to Crewe. The Blaenau line is another line I keep meaning to do, as the last time I made a trip on that line they were using bubble cars.

  • @KBRAILVIDEOS Hippos are the affectionate nickname for a class 175 :-)
