  • Oh, Clopin.

  • oh disney, where did you go wrong? THIS is what people really wanna watch!

  • 4:36-5:35 Is my favorite part of the movie, when Quasi was crowned the King of Fools, and he was so happy, that he cried in his good eye, which made me cry too, it still does

  • Sheet music... I want the sheet music for this. So much.

  • Just realized I missed Topsy Turvy Day. I have never been so sad in my life...

  • The intro here sounds like the festival music from "Tangled."

  • This guy is so awesome, he gets more songs than the main characters.

  • It sounds like "Be Our Guest" in the end, I like it!!

  • 2:48 Frollo: Look at that disgusting display!!

    Phoebus: Yes, Sir!!

    xD

  • did anyone else notice that the very beginning of the song sounds just like the kingdom dance from tangled

  • my fav scene!

  • @mlr2107

Totally!! :D When I listen to this soundtrack, it's so easy to picture how it'd look on stage.

  • SUCH a good soundtrack :))

  • Growing up Mufasa was my father, Growing up Bambi's mother was my mother, Ariel was my sister, Peter pan was my younger brother, Hercules was my older brother, Esmeralda was my aunt, The Genie was my weird uncle, Woody&Buzz were my best friends, Baloo&Bagheera were my babysitters, The Dalmatians were my pets, Growing up Disney was my family. I'm proud to say I am a 90's kid. I know we probably can't do anything but if you had this childhood and want your kids to as well, please repost this

  • Who could forget Ursula, the tentacled drag queen bent on sea-world domination?

Scar, whose goosestepping hyenas invaded Mufasa's pride?

Gaston, the he-man who stalks a woman and imprisons her dad in an asylum?

Maleficent, the cold eyed witch dragon with a pet raven?

Jafar, a metrosexual vizier who practices black sorcery?

Frollo, the medieval, religious, lust-ridden judge, bent on raping and murdering a dancer and annihilating the gypsy race?

Repost if you want REAL Disney villains again!

  • @Mirani2

What do you think of Dr. Facilier and Mother Gothel?

  • @peterfinnfilms Haven't seen Mother Gothel (rapunzel??) But I've seen Facilier, and while he's not the most serious, deep, or scary villain, he sure his awesome (who could forget that poison symbol hat) and those nasty but semi-hot purple eyes!

    Damn gotta luv Disney villainz!

  • @Mirani2

Before you say the new villains suck, you should watch Tangled, which features Mother Gothel, a manipulative, selfish, vain old crone who guilts Rapunzel into staying imprisoned in a tower.

  • @peterfinnfilms Who trekks far and wide to get her kindap-ee shells to make paint for her birthday....I think Gothel actually cared about Rapunzel a lot.

  • @TheBlahBlahNews

No, Mother Gothel only did that to stop Rapunzel from thinking about leaving the tower. Rapunzel mentioned the paint as an alternative to seeing the lanterns.

  • @peterfinnfilms I still think Mother Gothel did care about Rapunzel a little, even if she was selfish in the end...

  • @Mirani2 Haha, normally I find this kind of comments VERY annoying, but I didn't know this one!

  • @otakuyousei 'Yes, Aunt Esmeralda is visiting, remember not to ask her any questions about how she got here.'

  • @otakuyousei Bambi came out in 1942, The Little Mermaid in 89, Peter Pan in 53, The Jungle Book in 67. These movies span nearly a century. Don't pretend that these movies were released in the 90's. What do you mean "probably can't do anything"? Just show your kids these movies, it's not complicated lol.

God damn retards and their reposts.

  • @masterSHAKE917 So youre saying you can only watch movies in the year theyre released? That comment IS getting annoying but still...

  • @Milomia9 I'm just saying not to pretend like these movies were only a part of a certain group of people, but has effected people over a long period of time. Acting like the 90s were extra special all the time is just retarded. :/ I was born in 92', btw, so it's not really bias towards a specific other decade or anything like that.

  • Clopin is probably one of my top 3 favorite characters...ever.

He is so........ well he is Clopin..

  • @biohazardvoice He's like a child on drugs on sleeping pills on more drugs.

  • @TheBlahBlahNews and on a LOT of candy...

  • @biohazardvoice AND VIN!

  • @TheBlahBlahNews O.O well there goes humanity..

  • @biohazardvoice I think that Clopin makes up these festivals purely to get drunk.

  • @TheBlahBlahNews i think he would drink either way but he just wanted to party

  • @biohazardvoice But he wouldn't be able to get his little gypsy hands on quite as much wine on a normal day.

  • And then they humiliate him D:

  • This HAS to be a show on broadway!!!

  • @JordanWithAChance Actually, there was a french musical entitled Notre Dame de Paris. It's actually easy to find here on youtube. The stories a bit different as its based more bluntly on the book then the Disney version. Its worth checking out! The singers are fantastic!

  • @JordanWithAChance it used to be in France.

  • @JordanWithAChance A play had a long run at Walt Disney World, but closed a few years ago. I definitely agree, though. Disney should put more classics on stage. They're all simply AMAZING!

  • Hmmm, this is missing something.

Oh, the absurdly gorgeous gypsy girl.

i'll just have to use my imagination.

  • Wow, the beginning sounds alot like the market music from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

  • i LOVE the hunch back of notre dame!! It's one of my favorite classics EVER!! My first favorite is The Lion King tho :) In this movie, I've always wanted to do this play at my school and doggone it i may be stage fright but i WONT be stage fright to be Esmerelda!! <3

  • I play this song on Portal 2 Co-Op. It freaks the hell out of my partner. :P

  • Comment removed

  • anybody else reminded of Hyrule Marketplace with the intro?

  • @Melkundcookies Indeed :D

  • Clopin-Make a face as ugly as a gargoyles wing!

    Hugo-HEY!!!

    XD

  • Clopin is my homeboy anyday

  • OMG I can't believe they made this into a Disney movie! You know that the Esmerelda in the book was actually a bitch right?

  • @mamc1986 I'm reading the book now, and she was totally immature and ungrateful. :|

  • A very dark kids movie. I mean, Esmerelda pole dances. But still, as a kid I loved this movie. I still do!

  • @PirateWizardRebel: it's not necessarily a kids movie, more a movie meant for anyone to enjoy, things like the gargoyles jokes thrown in for the kids

  • @NickScottCHSvids: This should have been an adult movie anyways, caus I think that Frollo was wanting to bone Esmerelda, but I don't see the point if he's a priest and can't really anyone about his conquest.

  • @mamc1986 well technically he was a only a religious/government official....not a priest

  • @pinkfreak41 well I think he was a priest in the original story, but they changed him to be a judge in the film.

  • @PirateWizardRebel: Wow I didn't think anything of the pole dance. Then again this was kind of mild compared to the book.

  • @PirateWizardRebel and the atemped rap sene

  • Notice there are 0 dislikes! Clopin just can't be beat!

  • this song makes me want our little town to have a Topsy Turvy day

and with Clopin in it, it would've been alot more fun

  • this holiday should be in america too! ITS AWSOME!

  • @TheHaxman999: Thats what we have Marti Gras for.

  • Great Disney Song!

  • Demyx would have a ball at the FoF. Just sayin'.

  • filthy snouts

  • 6th of jan?!! DAMN I MISSED IT!!

  • 4:19 the motif from "Out There" just sent a chill up my spine

    He got found out

  • I remember when Clopin turned into Esmerelda, as a kid that totally blew my mind!

  • @wishingonthemoon1 That happened!? xD

  • Omg i love clopin... =3

  • You uploaded this on my birthday. Thanks for the wonderful gift :DDD

  • hmm reminds me of the circus :D

  • *Make an entrance to entrance - Dance, la Esmeraldaaaaaaa, DANCE!!!*

  • I LOVE CLOPIN! like if u agree :)

  • MUST. BE. ON BROADWAY.

  • @megantaylor01 It's supposed to be coming to Broadway in the next couple of years. Can't really confirm that, though.

  • I remember having this song on a sing-along tape and being completely ignorant to the cruelty that happens shortly AFTER this song since I'd never seen the movie until I was in Jr. High. I just thought it was a fun, crazy song. When I watched it in Jr. High, I was so excited for this part because I remembered how fun the song was...and then saw Quasimodo get humiliated ;A;

  • I felt so sorry for Quasimodo when they tied him down to that turn-table. Well, atleast Disney stayed true to the nature of Medeival Times (to some extent, but the book was alot harsher *shudders*)

  • @00ammy00

To add insult to the injury, frollo doesn't even stop the mockery he just sits there and watches insisting that there is a lesson that needs to be learned.

  • As long as the still had Paul Kandel for Clopin, I'm all for it being on Broadway.

  • I know everyone's said it, but it would be so true: Done properly, this would be a fantastic and absolutely STUNNING Broadway show. The music just itself for the movie is chilling and fun and gorgeous. This is one of Disney's best films, hands down.

  • @ElphieLady This was turned into a broadway show in Berlin in 2002.Although much darker

  • Have to Love Esmerelda's Dance part! *_* 5/5

  • I really really hope Hunchback comes to Broadway!! This song would be so awesome on stage, anyone else agree?

  • @mlr2107 I'm in a drama acadamy and our 'leader' told us that she might be Emserelda in THoND if it goes ahead!

  • @mlr2107 This whole show would be perfect for the stage I think...I can totally imagine it. And this song would be spectacular...the question is, why isn't it on Broadway? :(

  • @ArielBlaise Because Disney is full of tightwads

  • @mlr2107 All the songs would look great on Broadway.

  • I love Clopin <3 amazing character;

  • This would be such a great song/ scene if there was a broadway production of the Hunchback

  • I love this song "Topsy Turvy" on "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" soundtrack! It's so hilarious, perfect 4 the Feast of Fools scene in the movie!!!

  • Love Clopin, this song is so fun

  • @PrueStar: Oh yes, anyone that can do backflips and front flips thats a man can make my day. lol

I should totally look on the internet to see if there really was a Feast of Fools

  • @mamc1986 There actually was! check out Canadian rainwater on youtube. She made a Topsy Turvy vlog that explains it really well!

  • @mamc1986 Yes there really was a Feast of Fools! And Topsy Turvey looks like it's based on Carnival. It was essentially a great excuse for everyone to party hard just before Lent ;)

(Mardi Gras is french for Fat Tuesday, which is before Ash Wednesday)

  • Happy birthday, Paul Kandel.

  • Frollo- Look at that disqusting display!

    Pheebus- YES SIR!

    Too funny!

  • @Grynomite44 XD that's one of my fave parts from the movie!

  • I Really love this song!

  • know where i could download this?

  • Dirpy . com ;D

  • i love this movie and nice vid
