  • man you are my new hero !!! just tell how many times did you injured yourself ?

  • I love the choice of music, Bordello rules.

  • Gogol Bordello and swords. You can have my soul.

  • damn

  • outstanding...

  • Great! Amazing! Where are you from?

  • This is one of the videos of his I like best though on so many ways and tricks.I've always been learning the samurai sword.Ever since I started doing martial arts that was my first weapon of choice.I started when I was 15 to 24 I never seen any thing like this in dojo but at tournaments and in exetreme martial arts.Very excellent job. Thanks Mr.Roach

  • @Sether87

Thanks buddy :) I enjoyed making this one the most.

  • this guy knows his shit.

  • Your stuff really is impressive and I love seeing your tricks, I try to adapt what I can to myself. So I want to say thank you for posting these videos and your tuts. if you read this, maybe you can give me some advice. I'm mostly self train since I don't know anyone that enjoys martial arts or sword play. Is there any tricks to getting better without a sparring partner? I try to ShadowBox or imagine another person fighting me but that only seems to go so far. Any advice is welcomed :)

  • Definitly your best vid so far, very nice,

  • Most impressive, a very (but very) nice freestyle inspiration. Thoses years of training worked out for you (just the way you handle a knive, woah...)

  • nice presentation Mr.Roach!

  • O.O

  • How the hell did you learn yourself this?

  • if i had to sword fight this guy, i would shit myself.

  • great video as always my great friend :)

  • @TheActionMovieStar thanks mate :)

  • what was that katana-esk sword you were using?

  • good vid! I liked how you combine the body moves with the sword. I think I'll steal a couple of tricks to my next video

    good edition, by the way

  • FUCK YEAH ROACH!

  • you are epically ninja nice

    NINJITSU ???

    NICE

  • wow..this is..probably the best freestyle sword form ive seen....magnificent work fellow swords man truly inspiring work

  • @mahydraal than you mahydraal

  • I wish I had learned this skill when I was at the army... I could chop potatoes and salads easier..

  • Nice crowbar work. You considered to do circus show?

    5/5 Awesome tricks!

  • you know what, i think you do most of your bo staff acts on a sword specially when your using a short stick,

  • interesting, maybe a few but the different balance point of a sword changes everything. theres loads of sword forms i cant do with a staff.

  • if iwanted to do weapons training would i have to be 18 no matter where i am?

  • depends what you do. some arts like ninjutsu will only use weapons at later stages when older and only safety training weapons used. direct weapon arts like kendo can be done at any age i believe. the younger the better.

  • @TPRoach im 15 and i study ninjutsu and they let us use katanas, bo staffs, and sai

  • depends entirely where you go. I saw a class showing naginata use. awesome sight

  • you sick man keep up the good work.

    5/5 and subscribe

  • genial!!

  • awesome

  • Oh rofl i think the "dual bladed sword" is his Bo Staff

  • YA... tom has a few videos out... hes good with a staff.... I'm pretty sure its a stick at 2:27

  • saber at 2.27, bo-staff at 2.28

  • if i could go to england, i would want u as my sword and bo staff teacher. ur freakin amazing

  • @TPRoach Could you tell me what matrtial arts have you practiced and if not any can you tell me where did you learn it plz, TY very nice 5/5 keep it up!

  • nice bro, i too am confused by the dual bladed swords, however i suspect is it an attachable blade u buy from certain areas where you lock it onto the end of the handle of your regular sword?

  • At 2:27 is that a dual-bladed sword?

  • preety fancy foot work! untill you impale yourself! when you do make sure its gets on you tube

  • I agree.

  • good russian song :), i understand the russian parts hehe( since im russian)

  • Sure...

  • hmm??? it does have russian parts in it, starts around 1:57 roughly and goes on for abit. He even mentions two names which are translated to sergei and yuri. :)

  • I was just messing with you.

  • This song rocks.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh man thats a pretty nice vid pal !

  • LOVE this music hahaha its Awesome!

  • Have you learned all those tricks by yourself or did you use some films to learn? How much time did it take? Is it difficult to learn and are there any books/films or other sources I could use to learn? Thank you in advance for your help.

  • To atain the skill like this it will take years of practice, and you should train in a few differentmartial arts to get your basis down before you get yourself into kenvert...trust me it makes it all the better...but you will improve very fast as you practice...youl find it to be very medatative and calming. Videos should be avalable. It's a bit tough to learn, and you NEED to learn a basis on martial arts otherwise you WILL injure yourself. even with my practice i still blew out a knee B4.

  • Its very fun and very medatative though and youl find joy in it if you find its for you. dont let up if you begin practice, and try to do it regularly. im stuck here at college in a city where i cant practice this sort of stuff, but its amazeing exercise

  • very nice skills

  • Different style then your usual vids seem like and still amazing. Nice job.

  • AMAZEING as usual roach haha I LOVE this music here! practicality...shouldnt you ya know be good at that practical stuff before you spin the rather exesively sharp blade around "willynilly" as they say lol.

  • :D hee hee

  • Totally amazing Mr. Roach! You are an inspiration to all of us free minded swordsmen. Great choice of music and the editing was very captivating. I especially liked the part with the Katana flying into the sky and then you make the perfect catch! Thanks for posting man.

  • wats the name of the song its fuckin savage

  • Gogol Bordello-Wonderlust King

  • thanks

  • its nice to see how you improved your skills in the last years. keep going! :)

btw. where is the "ken vert" vid? i liked that one the most

  • What one, most of Tom's videos are Kenvert, he's got Neoteric Swordsman, Sword Symphony, this one, Sword Form Rage, and Sword Stunts.

    Gotta make it clearer.

  • the "What is KenVert" vid is a new one

he had another one online a year ago

  • Nice too see some new vids, Haha! good job 5

  • By God, what epic video is this?!

5/5 bro! Keep up the epicness.

  • DUDE... like olways you rule^^ I really enojy it. Carry on ;)

  • I like the bloopers :).

It'd be nice to see you apply this technique to a dummy to demonstrate some practicality to your style.

Tricks look good though. Would love to see more double sword action, maybe some sai, or a longspear. Keep it up!

  • Simply amazing.

Its good to see you still alive and kicking my brother, thats for sure ^^

More flawless editing to the music you have chosen. If you keep geting better I won't be able to keep up =P

And I think your right...the song has grown on me, its on my ipod now =S

Stay safe my friend, I look forward to hearing from you soon ^^

  • Good stuff mate. I love your unique song choices!

  • I don't like the music, but the tricks are making this video! Awesome, i wish i was that good with swords.

  • Awesome vid! Awesome music!

  • Excellent vid. Interesting tune. I like it!
