  • MUITO BOM PROVA QUE O TRABALHO DO MESTRE CAMISA DEVEU-SE AO SEU GRANDE TRABALHLO AVIDA TODA COM A CAPOEIRA , É O MESTRE DO MESTRE CHARM MEU AMGIO.

  • I think it should also be mentioned that this was the class of Mestanda Edna Lima (the first woman master of Capoeira in the world - twice) in New York City. Mestre Camisa was the guest instructor of her class.

  • 0:33 and 2:57 are the same question! He had a chance to talk with a master, and didn't do a true investigation. "Capoesta?!" come on!

  • Few people knew much of the art at the time which was why this interview was done.

If the pronunciation was incorrect, we apologize but it was not corrected at the scene. We actually didn't know how important Master Camisa was (and still is) until well after this story aired. He was very humble along with his students. A laudable attitude.

Please post your own "investigation' and improve on our "mistakes". That's how progress is made.

  • The videos have excellent footage, I'm thinking from a student's perspective though. I didn't consider the interviewer may only be reporting. Please excuse my forwardness.

  • Thanks for the compliment.

  • He was very good! :)

    Truly an artist
