Yes, I agree with your assessment of who has integrity and is campaigning honestly. I agree that a real contest would be between Paul and Kucinich, for example. You're also correct about not alienating Democrats. I should know--I ran as a Ron Paul Democrat in 2006 and earned 41% for US House in District 21 in Florida. We've now lined up a Ron Paul Republican, Dean Santoro in the same district. Check him out when you can.

I think she will pick Wesley Clark. He would be the perfect running mate to balance the ticket. He has Red State appeal because he is a General who successfully fought in the Balkans, and he wants to get out of Iraq and has the experience and the credibility with the left. It would be very hard for the republicans to call them weak on defense with him on the ticket.

I don't think it will happen. Hillary needs a running mate who can deliver a state that she would not otherwise win, like Iowa(Vilsack), or Indiana (Evan Bayh). This has always proven to be much more important than whether or not the candidates get along personally. Thats why Kerry picked Edwards(South Carolina), and Clinton picked Gore(Tennessee).
