It just takes time and patience...and a steady hand lol! You cant do it when your frusturated. My brother kept dying and got pissed off which made him lose more!!! Best advice to him was put down the controler and get back to it in a half hour or so. He beat it his first try after cooling down!!! IT WORKS!

@joemasonist It's harder than you think. This is one of those levels where it looks easy but actually playing it is hell. Also, in this level, you must use the motion control to beat it which is close to impossible if you have shaky hands.

I keep trying to tell Nintendo that I was a kid when they were releasing their much more difficult sidescrolling Mario games and I turned out just fine. I know they are trying to go easier for the kids, but if I could handle it when I was a kid, then it stands to reason that what won't kill today's kids will only make them better.

More challenging Mario games please, like what it was in the last half of New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Galaxy 1 & 2.

Really though, the beginning, just jump to the second green spot, you failed at the cube, just go to the corner and let it push you to the gear, then at the end jump onto the final cube and you're home free! :)
