other way to say what share tool is, it looks a LOT like VPN, except that things like OpenVPN take much more work to configure.
(but VNP is a universal protocol you can also use with Win32 and Linux, and you don't need an account for it, but you do need a static IP (or DDNS))
speaking of "ScreenSharing" btw, that is just VNC, but it doesn't like clients other then Apple's own, but you can Use ScreenSharing to connect to a PC with a VNC server :)
