Good cover, but I think Merge made the right choice going with Just Like Heaven in place of this as the final cut of the reissue.

alternative covers probably more genres than named ones. i just hate that good bands are classified in the same genre as bands that sound completely different like some crazy emo shit. if you dont know what to call a band you call it alternative, so its more or less lost its point

Alternative, came from The pigeon holeing of record labels, as opposed to the bands themselves, the Same as term independent came from independent labels, and some music is now knows as "indie"

I consider Dinosaur Jr. grunge more than anything but that's probably just cause I'm from WA =p lol so I think that makes me genetically predisposed. But yeah they are pretty much the only god garage band that DIDN'T come from Washington.
