ODST is by far my favorite Halo game I've played. and I have played all of them! With the exception of the upcoming ones.

Like an itch that desperately needed to be scratched, I finally found the part I was missing. It was driving me nuts; I couldn't sleep! Video games can make you obsessive! ODST is indeed a fine addition to the Halo universe.

BTW: if you have 28 parts and play the Data Hive, as you approach that door that is locked - beyond the corridor with all the Brutes - (the one where you get #30) - you can hear Sadie talking to Vergil. It's only brief, though.

everytime i play as da rookie which is all the time since i rarely do missions, I listen to the story. It's relaxing for some reason. I only foun up to arc 7 tho. cant find rest. Any way, they should do something with this side story. A little change of pace u know. Like maybe a animated movie of this. I would sure buy it. I bet they would make a lot of money on it.

Did anybody else know that this story is based off of Dante's Inferno? Not entirely, but it somewhat resembles the story. Kind of. Hard to explain.

Sadie was originally named Maddie. Her name was changed after the message "Maddie, where are you?" in the "Prepare to Drop" trailer caused complaints, as it was unintentionally echoing the disappearance of British child Madeleine McCann.

OK, yes it's sad, but now everyone has a complaint for everything. e.g A couple of Pokemon ep were band because the "name was to scary" or the content of the ep "reminded me of this thing that was bad"

Yeah the voice acting is pretty mediocre from sadie at times. It's not terrible, but with BIoshock's subtle VO in audio diarys, it shows you don't need to overact to get a audio story across, don't even need pictures.

when i played throught the game the first time, i felt strange. i realy got in to it all. i felt i was this alone solder stuck out there in the war torn streets. fighting a war that at that point was all ready lost. clining to small hop and the will to fight for hummanity. but then i find this log. and as i make my own story, i fallow her's. it was like i was not just putting togather the pices of what happend to me and my team....but to the very war it self. i think this was a nice touch.

Then during the Covenant assault, seven Engineers attempted to escape slavery from the Covenant, only one made it. That one found shelter in the core of the Superintendent's main data centre. As it gathered information, it "morphed" with Vergil, and eventually became a sort of living form of Vergil.
