  • nice set up!

  • @futurecop3100 Please don't come on my videos and be ignorant.

  • @Rage2552 A strobe is a pattern, it is the pulse of light that is the strobe. A strobe can be any sort of light so long as it pulsates fast enough. It's really not that hard to understand, I thought we've already been through this and moved on.

  • @ryesram i agree Rage2552 just had to add his two cents to the story. he failed to see my last statement of a strobe can be halogen xenon or led the point i made in my statement was there is no such thing as a "true strobe light"

  • ok im just going to light my car on fire and drive around, the light i will call what ever i fucking want to . lights are lights. if its bright its a light

  • @divernick100 i bet you'd get a lot of views actually if you did that :D

  • ok they are warning lights who cares they look good get over it people

  • @divernick100 haha, controversy got me lots of views :D

  • LEds are not strobes. They use a controller to simulate the actions that a true strobe light does. A strobe light is a type of bulb designed to flash at a certian rate. Leds have to have a controler to turn them on and off.

  • @MegaMouseSEC Traditional Strobe Lights require a driver to make them strobe. LED Strobes require a controller. They both require something that gives them intermittent power that controls the rate of flash. Go look it up.

  • @ryesram not exactly true. i have quite a few LED strobes on my truck in which none have a controller. it's controlled by the circuit board inside the light. i just flip the switch and away they go.

  • @griz4020 they are controlled by an integrated circuit (or controller)

  • @ryesram yeah i know. all led's (light emitting diode) are controlled by a circuit board within the light. some are set up just to stay on when you run electricity to them others like in this video are set up to strobe, flash, or stay on depending on how they're set up depends on how you are able to change the flash pattern.

  • @MegaMouseSEC there is no such thing as a "true strobe light" by definition strobe light

    n.

A flash lamp that produces high-intensity short-duration light pulses by electric discharge in a gas.

strobe means it flashes, whether or not its halogen, xenon, or led just means what type of light it is.

  • @twistedassassin07 Hey look! Someone who's not a dumbass! :)

    Thank you. :)

  • how do you get leds to strobe without a controller?

  • @stanleypowertools You can't.

  • china leds? why?

  • @5blackguys They're not in it anymore, it was mainly to check out some different lighting systms. They served their purpose well, for the price.

  • @ryesram I suppose everyone has been there at some point. lol Cheers

  • In the description you called them "led strobe lights" you know this is impossible because they are two different types of lights. Plus the fact that this is insanely whacker material.

  • @cutiger3115 "strobe" is a pattern, led, or halogen, or xenon, are all different types of strobes.

  • @SurvivorRye A strobe is a type of light that produces periodic flashes. Led halogen or xenon lights may run off of a strobe pattern as you stated but the caption said led strobe light. There is no such thing.

  • @cutiger3115 You are being much too literal. Are you really nitpicking the fact there was an extra word "light" used in the description?

It could say "LED Strobes" instead of "Light Emitting Diode Strobe Light", you're right, but do you really care that much?

  • @SurvivorRye No light emiting diode strobe light is the exact same thing that he said just longer, it should of said something along the lines of led light on a strobe type pattern.

  • @cutiger3115 Why would it say "LED Light" or "Light Emitting Diode Light" at all? This is what you're missing. LED Strobe is the same thing you're saying only shorter. You don't need to specify it's on a strobe pattern unless some moron comes on this page and just doesn't understand what that means. Are you that moron?

  • @cutiger3115 About 952,000 people on google agree it is indeed called an "LED Strobe"

Why would it be called anything else? It's a type of light, then a type of pattern, one after the other.

It's the same as calling a xenon strobe a "Xenon Strobe", except, this is an LED Strobe. Yes they are regular LED's, but Xenon bulbs are just that, bulbs. It does not strobe without a controller.

You fail to present a valid argument.

  • @ryesram

Because thos 952,000 people are fucking idiots. A strobe is a strobe, a LED is a LED, it's two completely different technologies....

  • @Rofocowboy84 I will excuse your ignorance.

A strobe is a type of light pattern. A strobe has to be made of something, whether it be a xenon strobe, a halogen strobe, or an led strobe.

You're on the right track saying they're different technologies, because one is a pattern of light, and one is a type of light, but they are not even close to the same thing. "strobe = intermittent flashes of light" whatever kind of light that may be. So you can indeed have an LED Strobe.

    Thanks!

  • Are you a Whacker?

  • thats awesome i would love to do something like that to my ram

  • I'd put two of those in the hood scoop! It'd be badass

  • very nice....

  • true that. whelen and able 2 are redonkulous

  • im talking about whizzy getting ripped at 90 bucks....

  • read what you wrote! its says you paid 90

  • Where did you get them for 5 a piece? I paid 90

  • same lights i have in my grille pretty good little lights......

  • very cool rye...i bet you even started a thread right??
