  • I would rather get the dynam hawk sky

  • i would like to fly engine powered planes in the future, is this good to learn the basics or is something els more recommended ?

dont know if a glider type plane acts different than a normal plane

  • Your out of stock guys. When will they be in? Pls let me know, need a couple. Also, can this be flown off the beaches of CA or would the winds be to strong? Much thx. 8D

  • im very nervous to fly my hawk sky =S im a biginner

  • I was thinking if that is a good idea start with this Glider than buy the Airfield 4 CH 2320mm EPO Fox. What you guys recommend?

  • I am looking for my first plane and I am really interested in these gliders. I was just wondering dose these gliders need a lot of space?

  • Any chance this plane will be back in stock?

    im a begginer

  • @deadgodshion Soon, also be sure to check out our other trainers as well

  • I have just ordered one of these from a UK supplier thanks to your review. I can't wait to get it!

  • @Tepic where did you get it from? I'm also in the UK and everywhere i have looked its out of stock :(

    Cheers

  • i am interested in getting a remote controll plane but am a complete beginer, would you recomend this plane or if not which one.

  • @sholtob I got this plane as a complete beginner....but I was use to rc cars. I had no problems learning to fly with this plane, at 1st I just flew around in a big circle making sure it didn't roll too much....just enough for the circle. 1st landing wasn't too bad, I landed going away from myself, just cut power and lifted the nose when close to the ground and hold it there until it touched the ground. I think it's a good beginner plane. It can also loop, roll and fly inverted with practise.

  • @69aussieguy practice*

  • @Nickcheese100000 Ok, thanks. Hey, maybe I can get you to check the spelling of everything I write before I post it, do you want the job? :-)

  • @69aussieguy ok i do need to make some extra cash for an rc plane

  • um should i get this or the skyhawk

  • My EZ Hawk seems to nose dive whenever I take off and my model seems to be overall nose heavy meaning I can't fly it. So can someone advise me on what to do if you have had the same problem.

  • @dontbeaboin

did you find a fix? Mine is doing the same thing.

  • this might b my first rc plane

  • this might b my first rc plane

  • this might b my first rc plane

  • PLEASE READ!! Do you think that this is better than the hawk sky

  • @kelmag13 the ez hawk is better if you are new to rc planes

  • How is the stock motor upgraded or replaced? DO you have to recut the foam ro can it done from outside the fuselage?

  • HEY GUYS! I HAVE A PROBLEM. DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT THE EXACT NAME OF THE AILERON CONNECTORS IS? THE Y CONNECTOR THAT GOES INTO THE RECEIVER... i need to buy 1 because i received this plane from a crappy distributer and it came broken, stupidly, i soldered it back on but it ddnt work and my warranty VANISHED. PLEASE HELP! asap! I WANT TO GET MY WINGS!

  • does any1 else see the sign that says "do not fly over rifle range"

lol some 1 gonna get shot down

  • @beastlybob36 nitroplanes has already got shot down ;)

  • what sort of winds can this fly in obviously no wind is best but that never happens were i live

  • could i just buy the 4ch and that the 4th ch plug out to make it a 3 ch

  • so with 3 channels (taking off rudder) you have throttle, aeroleron and elevator?

  • @fsxaviator Yes u got it right

  • What sort of range will it have on the stock radio ?

  • is this machine capable of loops and barrel rolls? Thanks in advance!

  • @mikeclevs This plane does loops quite well. I can get mine to do inside and outside loops from level flight, it doesn't require much altitude to do them safely.

As for barrel rolls, on a calm day I can pull it off, but the rate of roll is very slow and without a rudder to help hold the nose up while going through 90 degrees it tries to do a nose dive :-( Apart from that, I love flying this plane as it's so easy to control and gives me very few anxious moments :-)

    Hope this helps.

  • I recently got one of these. What a great plane to fly on calm days, so easy to control and lots of fun. However on a breezy day, not such a good idea taking it up, it's a real handful to control, especially the landing.

Only other thing was the transmitter, a little cheap feeling. I'm using an old attack 4 transmitter I have from about 20 years ago when I flew glow fuel balsa wood rc planes.

This plane is a cheap way to get back into rc flying for me, now that my wife controls the money :-)

  • what dimension of meatle rod or where can i find an upgrade for this plane to i can have a rudder?

  • what is different from the hawk sky other than four channels?

  • hey do u know where can i find gyros for my plane?

  • so when i see the plane not giving enough power i should stop and land it?

  • can u drain the battery all the way?

  • @DanhNguyenster64 It is not recommended, but once you see a decline in power you still have enough time to land it

    Nitroplanes

  • YOU'RE NOT PETE

  • @shoopwhoopX

PETE IS FROM BANANA HOBBY YOU NING NONG!!!!!!!

  • @rcmainiac thats the joke

  • what size amp ESC does the ez hawk have? good vid by the way!!

  • Is it right that there is no steel bolt to fasten the wing to the fuselage??

I got the manual of the Hawk Sky with it and there it says that I have to use a steel bolt to fasten the wings. But can I just plug them in, cause it seems pretty strong.

    Nice vid by the way.

  • Hows it doing in thermals? Possible to fly only in thermals, or is the gliding ratio too bad?

  • @xratzix well its a light plane it weighs 680g and with a wing span of 1370mm it should do good in thermals

  • I thought gliders are meant to fly unpowered?

  • @sarith21 It flys great underpowered, but we like to show the full capabilities of this glider

  • @nitroplanes Thanks for that =). I don't suppose you can link me to a video of it catching a thermal?

  • @nitroplanes i am begginer how fast is this glider i don't want to purchase something that is slow, but i want something that is easy to control

  • @sarith21 Look at around 5:00 if you want to see it glide.

  • @sarith21 You do that by turning the motor off.

  • Hey does this plane count as a parkflyer so it isn't illegal to fly in parks or fields where no one is around?

  • bought this plane and it is by far my favorite glides like a pro flips well and landings are effortless crashed it and an hour later and a lot of hot glue and its back and well would really recommend this plane to anyone have fun :)

  • @rambo45889

I usually recommend beginners carry a roll 2" wide packing tape to do quick field repairs. Be sure when using tape to do repairs to make sure the plane is aligned correctly. I remember when experimenting with a modified tractor version of a Hawk Sky, I would fly that thing so hard and fast and crash so often it looked like a flying roll of tape.

  • hey just fly had the same thing happen to my hawk sky. Just play around woith the wing servos .Try them in different ways. try to plug them in all kinds of ways. That`s what I did and I thought that the servo didn`t work too. It works gr8 now I had the wing servos in the wrong configuration. hey good luck. I can`t wait to fly mine for the first time

  • What a bunch of whiners. Stickers are irrelevant I own the hawk sky and didn't even apply the stickers. This plane is the same minus the rudder which I never used. It's even better converted to 2.4ghz. It may not be pretty but it flies extremely well. I almost bought the Guan Li A-10, My nephew bought it and it's insane to fly.

  • hey i bought this plane from u all and the right wing servo doesnt work for shit. now i have to wait 3 to 5 days for a new one. not too impressed with it. so will let u know when it does fly.

  • For you r information it is not a rifle range. It is a trap or skeet range. There is a big difference. The shot does not travel that far in a shotgun. Considering a rifle can travel miles. So it is not dangerous. You just have to learn to keep your plane out of shotgun range lol.

  • I didn't like it either, so I didn't put all of them on. I'll probably put black double stripes on the under side of the wing and on the double ring on the body. Gotta' fly it first...

  • @Rivan81 Oh, i know it flies good, that shape and paint will keep a lot of potential customers away. I like Nitro planes so I was giving them a business advice to make it look prettier and increase sales atleast change the sticker color and shape.. the competition: Easystar is the same configuration but looks a lot better..

  • does anyone know if this ez hawk able to do to barrel roles?

  • I haven't flown it myself, but I cannot see why it couldn't. Just make sure you're high enough and pitch it up a little bit and give it full aileron.

  • thanks for the info i flew it yesterday and it was great! I did barrel rolls and loops and more. This plane is sick.

  • Yes check out my videos. I have the Hawk Sky, but it's the same plane, Rudder control is not needed on this AC.

  • you sound like a hater i think the other planes in back round sound cool and just show these guys test planes all day and you probably cannot even afford a piece of toilet paper to wipe your butt nor could never afford anywhere close to the operation these guys are starting you prob cant even afford a cam to make your own videos jauchiu (something is better then nothing moron)

  • Yes, The Banana vids have the same sound in them and in THIS vid it is more prevalent.

    Thanx.

  • can i bind it to my DX7?

  • This plane is available in low band and 2.4. I received the 27mhz and I will just swap receivers with a Spektrum 2.4 then the DX7 will work.

  • Is that the San Bernadino Mountains I see in the background?

  • Hey guy's,

Good products and vids bit the lens cover bouncing against the camera is getting a bit irritating.

  • Actually we are next to the rifle range, those popping noise you hear is actually the eco of the shots being fired

  • Look in the background, Don't fly over Rifle Range. The same place Banana Hobby films, Your right the constant popping and sound from other planes is annoying. Wouldn't you think they could afford there own test field and a good camera guy if they really wanted to sell there product.

  • Nice plane. Nice flying Tony. Not much new happening in the Helli market lately.

  • what's the point?

why not just get a hawk sky?

you could just not use the rudder if you don't want it

  • @remotecontrolaholic lol yea the hawk sky is only 9 $s more lol and rudder with it

  • Nice to see the videos dude, without the "Hello pilots" LOL

  • sweet, love the vids man

  • I will stick with my Hawk Sky.

  • there's really no need for a rudder it has so much control

  • Looks like a great beginner plane. Aileron is way more fun than rudder only, I think they got that part right on the money.

  • now that is a cool plane, neat that you can upgrade it. looks like a lot of fun.

  • i wonder the same thing because on some of the easy hawks they have it so its not so hard to re mount ur own motor to the body....

  • Awsome!

  • very cool!
