is it just me or are those digital compass's so damn gimpy? I mean I got a casio with one in. twin sensors blah blah and it always says im heading south.. Its worthless.. Other hten that the watch is fine.

Very honest presentation of this Casio watch as an incoming new purchase. But, IMHO... I'd skip the opening of the box and focus more, please, on what the watch can do... and it's ease of set up and control of functions. CASIO sometimes has a bad rap of some difficulty in initially setting up the watch properly. I also would like to hear more of your opinion of the watch fit and function. Thanks, Compadré.

@tnvincesanity no, im not; i was using the ichat camera on the macbook and it flips everything over when you record so it look like its on my right side.. its like looking in a mirror. i really wore it on my left wrist.

@alphatan2 hey, thanx for all the god advice, thats something im working on, i need a good cam; i was using the isight cam on my macbook thats why the lighting is poor and the angles aren't good. but ill deff improve, thanx again. its good to have nice people help out once in a while.

@orion7747 well, the compass is self explanatory, you press the button that says compass and then it tell you what direction you're facing, but one you move you have to pres the button again, to recalculate the direction.

the wrist band idk if they are interchangeable, i have never done it and have never heard of anyone that has, but you can always double check...

I just got the SGW100-1V for my 20th bday

its this ones bro basically in the series. I was having trouble choosing between the two but decided that I didn't like the orange accents or green nylon band that they added to it. I'll stick to the black resin band.

Just wanted to say thx for the video I really like the cool blue lighting and tint that the face has. Perfect for surf./swimming. Hopefully this'll be one of my fave Casio pieces. It's my second watch since my first gshock back in 1995
