  • There is strength in numbers. Always try to have a strong presence and avoid doing this alone. Most cops will pressure and intimidate loners. It seems it helps if you have your granny tag-along too. Keep your distance and keep your yap shut; remember, you're an observer, NOT a participant. Shooting your mouth off makes trouble for you and the rest of us.

  • Pigs always require info but they ape shit when you have info on them

  • if i was that ignorant woman, i would be glad the police shot that guy in the parking lot before he shot her kids or someone else.

  • These people are putting themselves and others in harms way. Why don't you copwatchers read about the day without police in canada. I understand your idea but I think you are just plain getting in the way and cause more harm than good. You want to change things then work and vote or leave the country.

  • these people need to get a life. How about instead of WATCHING the cops like you're at the zoo, you make yourselves useful and VOLUNTEER to work along side cops in a citizens patrol program. That way you'll experience what they do rather than stand around judging the people who are protecting you from drunk drivers and murderers and sexual offenders and drug addicts.

  • @ciaoKitty13

Judging? You do know that the Denver police have one of the highest misconduct rates in the country?

  • @SporkFire when did i say judging? all i was saying is you can listen to everything you hear or see or you can check it out for yourself

  • The elderly woman was really cool.

  • With this Cop Watch organization out and about as they are, I wonder if the number of arrests and instances of "resistance" related injuries have decreased. If it has, that would be a very revealing statistic in itself.

  • My god look at the gray haired radical.

    You go girl!

  • Man...that group of grannies would be intimidating!

My gram is like a ninja...never got a warning b4 you are popped upside the head~

  • These stupid mother fuckers don't realize that they will be called into court to testify against not only police officers, but also the criminals. Now, when you get a visitor at your house for testifying against someone and they get sent to the joint. Someone will hurt you real bad.

  • FUCK THA POLICE!!!!

  • Why dont you let them do their jobs and you go get a job. What was a one officer job of citing a traffic offender, turns into have more officers respond to make sure the cop watch people and the officer are safe...you're wasting their time and our money. Go pay some taxes.

  • Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

    copwatch is a great idea..

  • I think it is sad that so many are dedicated to fighting the Police, not helping the Police to combat the problems of our communities. Priorities seem WAY out of wack!

  • They are helping the police. Accountability is probably exactly what law enforcement needs to stay respected, relevent, and appreciated. I personally have been unfairly profiled by the police, but I understand that the job they do is crazy difficult and have a lot of respect for them. Criminals will pay, but the law abiding public needs to know their rights or they will be taken.

  • @deputycorndog Yeah, priorities are way out of whack, I agree. I also think that most of the problems we have are a direct result of how the police go about enforcing our laws. . . selectively and what rolls in the bank for them.

  • @djfassler Well sure, selectively could also be seen as Discretionary! Most crimes are misdemeanors, so therefore most misdemeanors are enforceable through various means, to include warnings and no action as well! Question for you, what do you mean by "Most problems we have are direct result of how police go about enforcing our laws"? Curious as to all society problems vs problems with laws in general?

  • @djfassler I would agree in some jurisdictions that money plays a significant role in how enforcement goes. I personally don't like that, its less about safety and more about financing! Losing sight of whats enforcing rules in society is all about. What that is, is the executives "Higher ups" forcing the lower, motivated crime fighters into a meter maid role instead of seeking out criminals instead. Cops of today are no more liked then the hall monitors of yesterday, its a thankless job!!!!

  • Video all you want, its not a crime in a public place! However just respect the law that says not to obstruct the Police in the course of their duties. If you are too close, constantly putting yourself in a position that the officer has to stop his course of duties in order to focus on you and interfering with an investigation then yes you are then and should be cited or arrested.

  • Get a Job! and let the cops do theirs!!

  • On the job, is "On the record"!

  • Copwatch is one of the best ideas to come along in some time!!

    I support it 100%!!

  • We need a group here in Illinois

  • great vid, but i was getting a ticket in nyc and the cop told me to turn off my cam its illegal to film police ...i been meaning to check into that, she was polite and not rude so i believed her...anyway great vids.

  • yeah it's not illegal to film police. there's no law that makes it a crime to film them, except when they are undercover i which case we wouldn't know who they were anyways.

  • what law prohibits filming of undercover officers?

  • those clowns think their god in chicago they got 15 years gang bangers kids blasting their brains out ha ha ha
